"This property is absolutely lovely. The downside to our stay was that we only booked for one night! We plan to go back for sure! It was clean and well appointed. Really, the owners thought of everything! "

"We had a fantastic stay over Memorial Day weekend! The house is incredibly spacious and came stocked with all the amenities we could possibly need. The location is perfect, it's a great home base for visiting Yosemite, and being just 5 minutes from Mariposa made grabbing groceries and dining out super convenient. Communication, check-in, and everything else went smoothly. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"The Mariposa Lodge is conveniently located on the route to Yosemite National Park and right in the heart of town. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay.
Our room was clean and comfortable, though the property is an older motel and does show some signs of age. That said, we chose to spend our travel budget on enjoying Yosemite and the surrounding area rather than paying premium prices for lodging inside the park.
Overall, the Mariposa Lodge provided a good value, a convenient location, and excellent customer service, making it a great base for exploring Yosemite."
"If you stay more than one day-keep your in room coffee cup. Rinse it and keep it!!! went to front desk and they wouldn’t give a cup behind their counter. Said we could buy a paper cup for 3.50 each at the gift shop.. or bring the cup in our room. They don’t provide room service unless you call. I guess if you don’t keep your coffee cup from the day before, you can call housekeeping and maybe they will show up with a cup. And we only had one washcloth for two people for two nights."
"Property is on the side of a mountain which makes walking around a little challenging for an older adult. The younger adults and kids were having fun running around and hiking the property. The restaurant was good and the food was delicious. Rooms are nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable."
"Great hotel! Room was great and comfy. Decor was really nice. Nice helpful staff. Valet service was easy and very reasonably priced. The restaurant in the lobby was AWESOME. Had a really terrific dinner made to go and I ate in my room because I was preparing for a backpacking adventure in Yosemite and it was going to take some time to get my pack set up. Also the hotel restaurant seemed pretty popular on a weekend so I would recommend reservations if you are going! The ONLY complaint I have about the El Capitan hotel is the noise at night. Which I suspect they are aware of because there was a small pack of earplugs left on the bedside table. While I don't blame the hotel, and know they can't control the loud music, screeching tires, and sirens outside on the streets on a weekend night, it was still quite loud even with the earplugs. Since I had planned to go to bed early and get up at 4am to head towards the park, this was frustrating to not get a good night's sleep before doing a multi-day hike. If you are a light sleeper, please be aware noise "may" be a thing here. I say "may" because who knows maybe it's only crazy like that on a weekend. I stayed on a Saturday night. Other than the noise, I would give this place 5/5."
"There's no breakfast! Complimentary breakfast is a huge contributer in choosing a hotel. The lady at the desk said "Sorry, we only have coffee & tea. We keep telling Hotels.com that we don't have breakfast, but they won't fix it. "
The pool was pretty gross, but there were towels out so we didn't need to use the room towels. The elevator didn't work & we got woken up in the middle of the night by police officers looking for a suspects cell phone. We go to mariposa often & won't be back to this hotel."
"My stay was the best hotel experience I've every had at a hotel. I can't say anything negative about this hotel I think I'll be staying with the Hilton brand thanks"
"Our stay at Autocamp Yosemite was truly one for the books. it was the perfect place to slow down and just enjoy the moment.
From cozy nights in our Airstream to morning walks around the campground, every little detail made the experience feel special and unforgettable. After long days exploring Yosemite, coming back to Autocamp felt like the perfect mix of adventure and comfort.
We cooked dinner, relaxed under the stars, explored the campground, and simply enjoyed each other’s company. It was the kind of trip that leaves your heart full and your mind refreshed. Definitely a place and experience we’ll always look back on with a smile."
