"The house was in general, beautiful. There are a lot of stairs which are accurately shown in the photos. It was overall clean with the exception of noticeable stains in two of the bedrooms that could use a good cleaning. My kids loved having a fire at night in the fire pit and they absolutely loved looking for fish over the dock! It’s a great location!We were happy with the home overall but there are a few areas that could be improved upon:1). The title of the listing should remove ‘hot tub’ until the hot tub is replaced and open for guest use. While it says the hot tub can’t be used at this time in the body of the property description, most people will look at the title and assume it can be used. 2). The ‘beach’ could use updating and doesn’t really look like the photo that is shown. 3). The listing implies a pontoon rental is possible through the listing. However, when we inquired, we were given the name of a boat rental company that no longer offers rentals. With that said, Avantstay was extremely responsive and were great hosts. "

"Clean room quiet, lots of towels and hot water. Small breakfast good coffee. We will stay there agian when we visit Hickory."

"I called ahead to let them know I was going to be later than my reservation was made for the gentleman said that was ok and he would let the next person come in on know I got there and they canceled it even though I was told otherwise then refused to let me talk to manger and kept giving me and the booking company the run around and took all my money even though I was suppose to be refunded "
