Cousins, my daughter, and I came to Sicily to find our roots in a small village. We fell in love with Catania and the hotel was perfect! Everyone involved was so helpful and lines of communication were efficient, friendly, and professional. So grateful for this great place to stay.

Almost there but the details were a problem

Relatively clean aside from dirt on floors and the white stain on the couch. Biggest issues were: * consistent strong sewage smell in main bathroom, bordering on nauseating. * Cheap soaps * pillows were horrible. Like a rock. * bed was angled in middle -- like sleeping in a burrito * no instructions on entering -- building door key did not work well, had to play with it for 10 min to figure out how to make it work. Also took a while to figure out the entryway lights for the building, etc. This should have all been communicated. On the positive side: *A/C worked well *Quiet apartment in an otherwise noisy city *Clothes washer worked well * Good light in apt

Air Conditioning Issue The only significant downside to our stay was the malfunctioning air conditioning. Unfortunately, there was a three-day heat wave during our visit, and the air conditioner did not work. This made the apartment unbearably hot at night, making us find other sleeping options. Cleanliness The Ferrini Home Residence 80 apartment is impeccably clean. From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by the attention to detail in maintaining hygiene. The floors, furniture, and all surfaces were spotless, contributing to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. High-Standard Sofa and Bed The sofa and bed were of excellent quality, providing both comfort and style. The bed, in particular, offered a restful night's sleep with its plush mattress and high-quality linens. The sofa was equally comfortable, making the living area a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Clean Shower and Toilet The bathroom facilities were top-notch. The shower and toilet were thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained. The shower provided a strong, consistent flow of hot water, which was particularly refreshing. The modern fixtures and immaculate condition of the bathroom added to the overall comfort of our stay. Very Useful Gadgets The apartment was well-equipped with a variety of useful gadgets.
