My daughter and I recently enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay. The owners are terrific - serve delicious breakfasts, share interesting travel stories and good conversation, maintain very clean and comfortable rooms. The eggs with breakfast are from their very own chickens!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and if I’m ever fortunate enough to be in Genelle again, I’m staying with Gordon and Todd!!

Best hidden gem!!

Wow!! What an incredible hidden gem!! The house, furnishings, garden and the hosts are absolutely amazing! If you are planning on being in Trail or Castlegar, the 20 minute drive to stay here is worth it. Very little train or car noise, no horrendous plump mill or smelter smells. It’s wonderful!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Genelle House. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The property is gorgeous as was the view outside the window. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast the next day and Todd and Gordon were wonderful company. They gave us some good tips for stops on the rest of our road trip.
