The relatively remote location was good, with deer and hares visiting in the evenings. Somewhat disappointed that there were not more local walks to be made from the property.
Altogether a lovely time at this well-equipped dwelling despite mixed weather.
We had an amazing time away for my wife's 40th birthday, the property was large enough to allow privacy for our family and friends.
We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Bit vague
Overall we had a lovely time In a lovely house set in a beautiful area. Very well equipped in some areas but lacking in others. A 2 slice toaster is not sufficient to make toast for upto 10people and it took 45 minutes to make toast for 5.
Be aware that the 2 buildings are not joined by the upstairs which makes that part of the building somewhat isolated. Fine if it is accommodated by a separate family but not if you're a large family with young children.
The living room could do with more seating as it only accommodates comfortable seating for upto 6 people.
The large dining room could be put to better use as it was a lovely big room with gorgeous inglenook fireplace. However, we didn't use this room at all and felt it would be better used as a living room due to its size.
It was listed as having 2 tvs but there was only 1. It's also listed as having an oven but it doesn't. The only oven is the Raeburn. Enjoyed using this.
Be aware that WiFi can only be received in the main part of the house.
Outside to the front of the house, the patio area is in desperate need of making safe and not suitable for young children or people with mobility difficulties. This area we did not use due to this.
