"We did find some trash on the floor in our room from previous guests. Overall a nice place and on the lake, we would stay again. The restaurant is very convenient and serves good food."

"This VRBO was exactly what my family & I needed for vacation to Duluth& The North Shore. It was clean, the kitchen was stocked well with everything we needed. The beds were clean & cozy. The view was great (despite the smoke from the wildfires). My boys enjoyed spending time on the patio & also down in the rocks by the water too! Overall it was a great place to stay & we can’t wait to return!"

"The unit is in a wooded section, with a view of the flood bay on Lake Superior. While on the smaller side, it's suitable for 2 adults. The living area was a comfortable with a loveseat and nice leather recliner. The kitchen is small but well stocked with good quality dishes, pots/pans and a dual air fryer/convection oven. There was also a coffee bar providing extra serving space, larger pots, pans and other kitchen gadgets in cupboards below.The bedroom was small but had a comfortable king-sized bed and high-quality linens. There was an armoire with 2 drawers for storing clothes. The bathroom 's walk-in shower has a nice rainfall showerhead with good water pressure.The living room, has 2 large picture windows, and leads to a deck flanked by fir trees. Such a serene place to have coffee, and watch the red squirrels’ antics!It was unseasonably hot during our stay, and the indoor temps rose up to 80 degrees. We used the floor fan to help circulate the air and opened the deck doorway at sunset. (great to have the magnetic screen door to keep out bugs).There are several paths throughout the complex, and wildflowers were in full bloom with multiple songbirds in nearby woods.I higly suggest the host add a window AC in the bedroom for future guest."

"Host was excellent! Great communication and quick to respond. Host went out of his way to bring us 2 more fans on a hot day as the place does not have AC. Host also acted quickly and upgraded his starlink account to give us unlimited data as when we got there, he had ran out of data and we were throttled to a crawl. Definitely a great host.Property was clean and as advertised. We knew it didn't have AC but did not expect it to be that hot inside. There was limited air flow as the windows with screens were small. Host brought more fans and made the heat more tolerable. No curtains nor blinds so very bright in the morning if people wanted to sleep in, it was difficult for us to sleep in because of no curtains.Property is right off the lake with private access to the lake. Building has a wall of windows with view to the lake. I would have cut the trees blocking that beautiful view but you could see the water to the right. Overall, property was very nice and host was excellent!"
