"Lovely peaceful and private location, generous living room, which was brilliant as we had several visitors. Lovely waking up to see the horses in the fields, and a real treat to get closer to these beautiful animals when they came into the stables. Dog walk very securely fenced, lots of interest for the dog and a decent distance for them to run and explore. Top attitude from the owners, the whole property, including the farm, was genuinely dog friendly and not just dog tolerant. Our single glitch, the directions for getting there, was generated by the holiday company, and not the fault of the owners; we were sent in completely the wrong direction. Once we got there, we loved our stay. Thank you, Stephen and Lyn, and we look forward to staying with you again."

"Solgirth House Farm was the perfect venue for our family Christmas reunion. A beautiful warm, cosy farmhouse with a modern extension, it offers all the home comforts and space you need. Located on a working farm estate in a picturesque rural location, the farmhouse is a fantastic getaway destination. Furthermore, Jan (the host) leaves a delicious hamper full of local produce and is happy to give you a tour of the farm to see the emus, rheas, pigs, cows and goats. Great fun!"

"Words cannot describe how great of a stay we had. The property was beyond beautiful. The location was perfect. Dollar was a wonderful little town, and Stirling definitely lived up to its reputation. Having parking for two vehicles and a washer and dryer were an added bonus. Our entire party thoroughly enjoyed our time there. "

"I would give more stars if possible! Everything was perfect - Christine has thought of everything. The lodge is so organized and also has anything you could need on your trip. She was also very responsive if we needed anything. We traveled as a family and our little kids loved it too. The open concept also provided so much space, and the kitchen was fantastic. The location was also great, we walked into Dollar several times. The river and waterfall right there was beautiful, I’d love to see in the warmer weather too."
