We had the most wonderful stay at La Vieux Castillon! The hotel and views were idyllic, the staff kind and attentive, and the food absolutely delicious. We visited as we are considering hosting an event at the property, and were particularly impressed with Salomée, who was professional, knowledgeable, and able to answer all of our questions. In short, we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the city and recharge!

Probably the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in! Absolutely stunning place. The grounds went on and on
 the pool area was amazing
 the fine dining restaurant was superb. Our room was huge and the decor was exquisite. I could go on
. The only problem was we couldn’t stay another night as it was fully booked!!!

Gem of a stay

Beautiful spa hotel. The pool area is stunning. Small and friendly. Lovely breakfast area. Rooms are cozy but lovely. Only issue was that our suitcase was damaged by whoever took it to the room. It wasn’t new so we didn’t mention it but it would have been nice for someone to tell us given it was pretty obvious it had fallen down stairs or something similar given it’s state by the time it arrived in our room.

Great but a closed bar and restaurant in peak?

This is a beautiful hotel and was great EXCEPT we stayed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday nights and no one told us the restaurant would be closed on Monday and Tuesday and that the bar would be closed on Tuesday as well!! The town is tiny all but one restaurant was closed on these days and it was full! When I asked where we could eat , I was told you get in your car and find somewhere which given we had been out all day we did not want to do . I have never stayed in a hotel where the bar was shut! The hotel seemed very busy so this made no sense. Why did no one tell me at booking or at check in that the restaurant and bar would be closed?

Un havre de Chill au sein du Duché

Pause Estivale de 24h sans les enfants dans ce havre de paix Provençal Ă  la belle histoire. Cadre idyllique. MalgrĂ© une dĂ©convenue sur la chambre initialement rĂ©servĂ©e, Ă©quipes aux petits soins pour faire de cette expĂ©rience un excellent moment.
