"It was an experience to have live in an old Monastery setting. The place is beautiful and nicely kept. Rooms are big but spartan. We accepted it as it is in a Monastery. Breakfast was ample and excellent coffee."

"Fantastic hotel with beautiful rooms and really nice service. The hosts Manila and Carlo have a great eye for design and have turned the place into a beautiful place for relaxation. Great selection of wine at the hotel and perfect breakfast. The pool overlooks the vineyards. Definitely coming back! "

Hotel Calissano

10/10 Excellent

"Spent 4 nights at Hotel Calissano in August while doing wine tours. Chose it based on a recommendation from the tour guide and it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly at the reception, the bar, and the restaurant. It is a five minute walk to the pedestrian zone of Alba so the location is excellent and easily accessible. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station. My room was a good size and very comfortable. Despite being next to the elevator, it was very quiet. Would happily recommend Hotel Calissano and will stay there again the next time I am in Alba."
