Perfect Stay in Tuscany

This place is a gem in the heart of Tuscany! The owners were so sweet and helpful, offering maps and guides to find wine tasting in the area. The breakfast included is incredible, homemade jams and pastries, along with a lovely meat and cheese spread. It was easy to get to--we drove from Rome and had no issues navigating. The nearby towns are adorable--we highly recommend!

Godt, at man kunne grille og lave mad i eget køkken, inkl. køleskab, kogeplader, ovn. Dejligt med aircondition. Man kunne ikke se vejen, og blev ikke genereret af trafikken, der ikke var heftig. Fin swimmingpool. Værtsparret var til rådighed og meget serviceminded. Restauranten, der lå 75 m væk, er yderst anbefalelsesværdig: god mad og betjening. Castellini in Chianti kunne nås på 10 min. på cykel. Roligt om natten.

Ein wirklich toller Aufenthalt, wir haben uns jederzeit gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Am ersten Frühstück wurden uns Reiseführer zu verschiedensten Städten der näheren Umgebung auf den Tisch gelegt. Das Frühstück war fabelhaft, es gab verschiedene selbst gemachte Dinge wie Marmeladen und Gebäck. Alles in allem würden wir jedes Mal wieder hierher kommen 😊

Week end a Castellina in Chianti

Résidence facile à trouver et pratique, à quelques kilomètres du centre de Castellina in Chianti. Petits déjeuners copieux avec les confitures, yaourts et pâtisseries faits maison (et autres!!!). Couple charmant et très accueillant. Appartement (Gaia) spacieux, confortable et plein de charme. La bâtisse est en bordure de route, mais il n’y a pas foule sur les routes de Toscane la nuit !

Eine wunderbare Location in einem charaktervollen typisch toskanischen Haus. Die hübsche Kleinstadt Castellina mit restaurants, cafes und supermarkt ist 2-3 km entfernt und mit Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Nach Siena sind es rund 20 km und nach Florenz ca. 40 km. Also ideal für Tagestouren dahin. Das Haus mit Pool liegt ruhig an einem Hang mitten im Grünen. Es führt eine Landstraße direkt am Haus vorbei, aber das Verkehrsaufkommen ist nicht so hoch und daher auch nicht störend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die persönliche Beträuung durch die Inhaber, die immer freundlich und hilfsbereit mit Tipps und Infos weitergeholfen haben.
