"This is a lovely hotel, perfectly located on the beach and next to the ferry terminal. The rooms were lovely and clean and the staff really friendly. The restaurant on the bottom floor of the hotel was an unexpected surprise and the food and service were amazing!
We just wished we had booked to stay longer. The photos of the hotel really don’t do it justice, it’s much nicer even in real-life."

"I loved the location of this property. Right by the water, with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff was very kind and helpful with our needs."
"Let me start with that this hotel is exactly what I expected for the cost of a night. The room was small and had the "landlord special" vibe to it. But it was clean and comfortable for the night we stayed. Staff at the front was welcoming and nice. Pool looked nice but didn't get a chance to use it. If you don't demand luxury and want a clean room that is close to Cedar Point and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, this place works well. Again it may not be 5 star, but I didn't pay 5 star money for it, so it lived up to all expectations and requirements. "

"Our stay in Vickery was fantastic! Preston was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy from check-in to check-out. The space was comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was Rum Runner Cove—such a fun spot with great staff and a perfect atmosphere right on the water. Just walking distance. We loved the peaceful vibe of the area and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend Preston’s place if you’re visiting the Sandusky area."
