Pretty slow check-in process, room not cleaned the seond day (not professional), of course no change of towels or bedsheets, and woken up early morning by some construction work upstairs. "The view from this hotel was unreal. The hotel was also nice enough to upgrade us to an ocean view room. The breakfast was unbelievably good. My husband also loved their massage. Oussama and Fatema went out of their way to help us plan for our day or make our stay memorable. However, the prices for food and taxis were inflated compared to what you would get outside. For example, the taxi price to Medina or the rail station was 100 dirham through the hotel. However, when we returned to the hotel from the medina, the taxi driver quoted 50 Dirham and settled for 30. The lunch and dinner prices were also around 50% less in nearby hotels or restaurants. "

"Awesome hotel, beautiful bright rooms with an amazing view. Breakfast buffet is excellent, and the restaurant, entertainment and bar on site are just as good as anywhere else in the city. Hotel is right in the city center, the beautiful Tanger-Ville train station across the road and a shopping mall in the back. 5 min walk to the beachfront and corniche. This will be my go to hotel when returning to Tangier."

"The reception area when you enter the Movenpick Hotel in Tangier is very impressive. My wife and I were greeted by the lovely concierge team and one of the team members in a full Moroccan outfit served us nice hot mint tea. The front desk member Faical was very kind and attentive and showed us our room which had a beautiful sea view. The hotel manager Mohamed was also very helpful throughout our stay and Manal at the reception also assisted my wife and I when we needed any help or advice on where to go for sightseeing and shopping. They were all a shining example of warm Moroccan hospitality. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of different food. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. The bathrooms were also a good size. The rooms need some maintenance work and generally need to be updated as they are looking old and dated. The hotel is in a wonderful location with beach access. Unfortunately the pool was closed due to maintenance. There is also a very nice park/gardens across the road. Most small taxi rides from the hotel to the Centre Shopping Mall cost between 10-20 Dirhams. We stayed for 3 nights and had a good experience. Hopefully the management can start work on updating the rooms soon."
