"Best hotel!! Convenient if you’re traveling by train, the train station is just up the street and there’s a mall nearby to walk around in and then it’s a five minute short walk from the beach. "Such a wonderful place at entrance of the the Medina of Tangier. A former bank building from 1907 transferred in the early 2000s to a hotel. After traveling for almost 3 weeks all over Morocco we had our last two nights in this historic place. Great service, excellent breakfast buffet, nicely decorated rooms. Very detail orientated decor of the hotel. The only shortcoming was the noise coming from the street at night. We had a balcony room, facing the street, lovely during daytime and in the evenings, but a bit noisy at night. Not the fault of the hotel, but if you have a light sleep you might want to ask a room facing not the street. "
"The hotel has probably seen better days but the staff was Incredibly helpful. When my room air conditioner was not working they allowed me to switch right away. They found me a phone charger right away. The pool was very refreshing And you can't beat the location for being right by the Medina and Grand Market and much more. It does not hurt that I am named Fred and my last name starts with J So I felt like I was at home! For the money a great place to stay. "
