Our trip to Casey was short but sweet! Lisa's property is perfectly located across the street from a beautiful park and close to the "big things". The house was very clean, had all the amenities we needed and you can even rent the golf cart. We were lucky enough to have a storm roll in so we got to sit, watch and relax on the porch.
We loved our stay! So close to town. We loved having the golf cart to explore the town. Lisa was great and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!
The place was clean and had all that my family needed to enjoy our stay. Having 2 bathrooms was nice for my family. It is right across from a nice park and just a few minute drive from downtown Casey where all the big things area. If we stop in Casey again we'll be looking to stay here!
Lovely home for checking off bucket list item to see all the Big Things! The golf cart is wonderful for this adventure. Lisa is the perfect host! Hope to be back again!
Small town with a big presence! The area was nice. The locals were very friendly. Cute little shops. Loads of "The World's Biggest" items to take pics of. Great hole in the wall restaurants
We came to Casey to see the big things with our grandchildren and were so happy with this house! It fit us perfectly and was so convenient. The golf cart made it even more fun and we hope to return with another group of grandkids.
Lysa has his property on point and it is amazing we thank you for making our stay comfortable. My dad was born in Kacie and the city has grown like crazy. Just simply amazing we ever come back. It will definitely be to this place.
Location of this property you can’t beat. We were only 10 min from family and just minutes from everything Casey has to offer. we enjoyed the park and pond across street. We even had a family pizza dinner at park one evening at tables. We will come back again.
What a wonderful place to stay for a unique visit to Casey!
Enjoyed everything about the house, location is great, across the street from a beautiful park. Would definitely recommend visiting and get the golf cart for running around town, the granddaughters loved it! Check out the L & L's Virtual Adventures for sure and definitely try the pretzel place Tetzel Time, fabulous pretzels! We loved everything about Casey and of course this Cottage!
Our group came in to see the Big Things in town. Had a great time. Loved the house and location with Park across the street. Sat on front porch and enjoyed the sound of the fountain in the Park. Very relaxing weekend.
We were only here for an overnight on our way across the country, but the house was fantastic! The kitchen was beautiful, and the whole house was so comfy & cozy - we felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. Lisa is a wonderful host, and communication was clear & prompt. It was an easy walk to see all of the Big Things & have dinner in town. Thank you so much for a great stay!
My sisters, niece and I came to see the BIG things in Casey, and even though there was a lot of walking involved and we had a golf cart it was an enjoyable experience for our 1st trip. The rental was a great fit for us all and would love to visit again sometime, when we have more time.
Thank you again Lisa
We stayed here for a night to explore all the big things. Staying at Lisa's place made this quick little trip so special, and honestly more fun. The minute we pulled up we were so pleased. The interior was very clean, and decorated very well. The park across the street is so nice, and the porch out front is too cute. We rented the golf cart, and it was well worth it. Cruising the town in the cart was the best. I highly recommend staying here!!
It was a great place for us to stay! My two grown children, their spouses, and grandchild joined us! We were able to enjoy family and friends, shopped in Casey, children’s museum in Terre Haute, family dinner cookout on Saturday and Easter egg hunt on Sunday! All at various places. My granddaughter loved being able to walk to the playground. Met Tammy and she is a jewel!
We booked our stay in Casey the last night of our Colorado trip so we would be about an 8 hour drive from home. Casey was a surprisingly fun place to spend an evening. Casey has a number of “the world’s biggest” items including the world’s largest mailbox that you can go inside. We had a lot of fun going throughout the town discovering these largest things and taking pictures. The house met all our needs. It has a large porch to sit on and is across the street from a park. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
Property was perfect for reunion of college friends from 57 years ago. Made lots of use of rockers on front porch to catch up on visiting. Lovely decor.
Only suggestion is need of detailed directions how to run a smart tv to get regular stations when we operators were 75 and didn’t know how!!
My husband and I took a short trip to Casey to visit this quaint little town with the Big Things. While we were there, we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Lisa was so quick to respond to any questions we had. The home was very clean and roomy. We loved sitting on the huge porch, watching and listening to the birds, squirrels, and other little animals hanging out in the yard and in Fairview Park. The park is right across the street and has a nice big pond where some people were fishing, and it had a big playground with lots of little ones enjoying it. It also has great walking paths that we took advantage of while enjoying the beautiful weather. When we went into town, we got a map of where all the Big Things are located and started our hunt. There were 35 items (some in town/some in other local areas). It was a lot of fun! We enjoyed a couple of the local restaurants Richards and Crazy 8 BBQ. Love the peanut pie at Crazy 8s! Already thinking about visiting again in the Fall.
