"Front desk is not staffed 24 hours - we called ahead about a late check in and were told an envelope with our keys would be ready for us so we’d be able to get to our room as soon as we got in - when we got there (not too late, maybe 10 or 11pm) there was an envelope for us but it did not have our keys, just a note stating to dial a number on the white phone in the entryway to be let in to the building, we dialed it 5 times and no one came for us, I had to call the front desk in order for someone to finally hear it and let us in, the room was fine but I wouldn’t say it was worth what we paid for it "

"Extremely dated but functional Lou working the front desk would be better at an auto shop. Zero customer service skills Truck/sled trailer rigs all over the place in an unorganized fashion "

"Staying at this hotel in the winter (off season) was not ideal. Too much snow, parking challenging, and hotel office closed. Room was fine, but no view of the lake. My room key didn’t work on my last day, so staff had to re-issue a new key. For winter, I recommend staying 7 miles north in town..Grand Marie…where there are more guests, better overall parking, access to businesses and customer service."

"Clean room. Perfect place to stay for snowmobiling weekend. Cabins are rustic. Great views, warm, and cozy. "
