I went to celebrate my birthday and we had an amazing stay. We left to Marrakesh for a couple of days and my clothes were moved but the proof found them promptly and they were cleaned for me. They made my birthday special and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

To be clear this property is not 5*. It’s an average 3 at most. I’d say it’s ok for a business trip, but actually you can do a lot better for less in Morocco if all you want is a clean room to stay in. The staff were friendly, but the hotel can’t get many of the basics right. The air conditioning was ineffective. In late October, we opened a window instead. The decor of the room was run down and the door to the bathroom would not shut. Despite signs in the elevator and elsewhere advertising that the pool bar and restaurants are open to midnight or beyond everything was closed when we arrived at 22:00. We were told room service could provide drinks, but after 30 minutes they came to tell us that they could only provide coke normal. No beer, no Coke Zero. The pool area was consistently locked. In 4 days we only got it open once. The pool bar was never open with the seat cushions piled on it. Despite this the staff would tell us it is open. On the plus side, the local area has some good restaurants and bars. Generally the hotel has friendly staff but everything else has been neglected.

Hotel is tired but staff very pleasant and helpful. Particular thanks to the team for finding a parcel we left in a taxi and helping to get it forwarded to us. That would not have happened in the UK!
