VERY FAR away from Cartagena town though there are shuttles. I was part of large group so it was fine for me and noticed other large groups too. The cafe and room service was incredible.

Sonesta Hotel Cartagena
Rooms specially bathrooms need remodeling very soon. Noticed black mold that can be cleaned with products. There is no need to have it there. Besides that nice location.

Very bad they cancel our room it was an upgrade to suite and we abandoned the property without enjoy even 1 hour we lost our money and they have inappropriate behavior, they invalidated our room key without let us know, after that we moved to another hotel and we lost the money Thanks Javier ...

Great property, very clean and accommodating! Front desk, security, Restaurant and food selection were great and so was the pool, bartender and beach area! Very quiet and Would definitely stay here again!
