Through no fault of the property owner and manager, the street noise was incredible. The windows are thick and helped quite a bit. The fact that it was the 4th of July weekend did not help. Driving the car in and out of the parking area along the busy road can be a challenge, but like the property manager will tell you, turn right only out of the lot and...

"A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay again for the price, but would enjoy it more with a little refresh."

The room it’s very quiet and cozy, with plenty of towels and small fridge and microwave. Close to Safeway and the best views of Lake Tahoe. I would come back.
