Lovely, quiet getaway

Great place to stay and get away. Close to Madison and was a central meeting place for me and my friends for a weekend away. Service was wonderful and friendly and helped us with a key card that didnt work. Note to those who stay, the faucet to get the shower to run is under the tub spiget. Took me a minute to figure out you have to pull the actual mouth of the spiget for it to run.

Staff was very nice. We had requested a King bed, but due to renovations on all the King rooms, we got 2 queen beds, which was fine. Very quiet this time of year. A nice little getaway.

Kentucky Charm

Such a nice place with beautiful views off the balcony. The place is older, but it is well maintained and clean as a whistle and has a bucket full of charm. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant staff was very friendly and pleasant to talk too. When I'm back in the area, this will be the place for me to stay.

We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin.It was very spacious. Our cabin was a duplex,attached to another cabin, but each cabin has its own fire-ring area so its nice & private. Saw lots of deer at dusk! Lots of birds to enjoy! Beautiful place

Superb overnight visit--would definitely repeat

Wonderful overnight stay! Such a peaceful, beautiful park to visit--sorry we weren't staying longer. Room was so nice and clean--very big with an individual balcony. Breakfast was just incredible--a hot buffet with all the goodies plus a fruit and yogurt bar and cereal too. Real restaurant quality. The lodge main room windows overlook quite a view and are fantastic to see--looks like a chapel with wood beams. Definitely would visit again!

Vacation!

We had a fabulous time, went to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. We stayed at the General Butler Resort Hotel in a cabin. It is beautiful, too bad the pool was under construction, but had things to do. Our cabin had a sunken bedroom which was weird that you had to step down into the room and felt like you were going to fall. Hopefully all the cabins are not like that. Breakfasts are included and where fabulous!!! Would love to go back!!

The service staff was fantastic. I had to arrive really late and the girl at the desk was great. I was a little bit spooked when I first got to my cottage because the TV wouldn’t turn off, and the bathroom had something brown and streaky on the tile, there were some bugs, but this is expected in a camping cabin. The bed was clean the sheets were clean no bugs in the bed! I would definitely stay there again, but I might take some cleaning supplies with me. Breakfast was delicious.
