Perfect spot in Carrara

It was a perfect setting for our stay in Carrara. Our host was extremely generous throughout our stay and a wealth of information about the history of the area and also ran an antique shop next door. Would definitely stay there again recommend it to anyone traveling to that area. Also, gave great restaurant recommendations!

A beautiful room.

It is a lovely place. The owner goes a long way to make you feel at home: the extra touch of the free drinks in the kitchen was particularly appreciated. I would definitely go back.

Beautiful room - we would definitely stay there again. Owner was very helpful and kind. Air conditioning was a plus. The only downfall is that it was a ways from the train station, so figuring out the bus schedule was imperative.

This property had many pluses but also a few minuses. Pluses were very helpful host hood local places to eat. Minuses were lack of a lift and having to haul bags up many flights of stairs. The hist was however very obliging carrying my suitcase up for me. Also the parking was a bit of a hassle. Had to pay for street parking until 8pm. Again host gave me some coins as the machine wouldn't work with my card. If the host wasn’t there helping this wouldn't have been a good stay

This is an excellent B&B. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Property was beautiful, light, spacious and could not have been cleaner. Plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. I highly recommend this establishment.

Great B&B right in the center of Carrara. The host is very friendly, very attentive and always available for any support. Property is beautiful, very spacious, super clean and beautifully decorated by the attentive and expert eye of Mr. Lattanzi. Food and drinks available in the shared kitchen, which is a very nice touch in my opinion. We will for sure be back again soon! Grazie mille!

La Bottega d'Arte is a charming B&B on the edge of the old town of Carrara. Corrado, the host and owner of the antique store at street level makes you feel immediately at home, providing advice, historical anecdotes, guidance and the friendliest welcome in this very friendly country. The room was superbly decorated, with all modern amenities. The historic city center is right up the street and a frame to the most famous mountain quarries in the world.

Absolutely great B &B!!!

Staying at this place was fantastic in every way. The hospitality and kindness of the host are exceptional. I stay at La Bottega d’Art with my daughter who turned eighteen white we were there and the owner, Corrado surprised her with flowers. Very touching. The room in the B & B was very comfortable, nicely decorated, well located and very clean. Our stay in Carrara had not been so wonderful without Corrado”s help. He advised us about good restaurants and arranged tours and several practical things. From Carrara was very easy to visit beautiful places as the marble quarries, Pisa, Florence and Cinque Terre. We intend ti come back to Carrara, stay at this B&B and see other magnificent places we did not have time to visit. I highly recommend La Bottega d’ Art!

Beautifully appointed apartment with a lovely shared dining area that looks out over the neighboring courtyards and mountains. Stunning in all aspects. The bed itself was regal and comfortable. Carrara was very interesting with a wonderful market and the marble tour was inspiring. Their motto: Our strength is in the wheel! But best of all, we didn’t see any other tourists. Authentic Italy is indeed the dolce vita! Gratzi!
