"Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."

"There are a couple of areas where this property falls short.
Firstly it advertises parking but there is no parking, you are taking your chances on a very busy downtown street. You get charged another 10 euro a day if you dare to use the air conditioning and it must be in cash. Half a small pottle of yogurt each for breakfast is a touch inadequate. However the rooms are clean, tiny but clean.

"Katia, the host, was wonderful, very welcoming and helpful. Everything was great, very clean, modern room in an old Italian building, location is in a great area of Taranto. I definitely recommend this place."

"When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE. "The hotel has excellent parking facilities, which is important in Puglia where parking can be challenging and confusing!
Hotel itself is 10-15 minute walk to old town, which is fine and has a nice rooftop terrace bar and restaurant.
Rooms are nice and comfortable, with good views over Ostuni (see photos).
Breakfast is fine.
The only negative is it is €40 to use the indoor pool (in the spa) which seemed expensive!"
"Everything was lovely, the rooms were clean, the staff amazing!
We just felt a couple of improvements would make this stay 5*!
The coffee at breakfast could come out a little hotter- this is a machine issue, and the hot items were also delicious but mostly cold.
A water fountain on each floor near the lift would be great, to encourage filling up water bottles rather than the single use bottles in the room - only one in the breakfast room!
We'd recommend a room on 2nd floor or higher if you don't want to be disturbed by early breakfast goers."
"My Sons Wedding.
Perfect in all ways.
Super helpful staff, lovely, clean rooms, Outstanding food, Young man on the bar was brilliant, well kept grounds and pool area,
Thank you! A beautiful experience for all our family."
"Lovely and very unique place to stay .. room was lovely with sauna and pool but it was not clear when we could use upstairs spa pool so did not make use of that .
I would say be careful if you have any mobility issues here as can be slippy , not an issue we had but just to warn people.
Small fridge provided in room .
Great location for people who like to walk to the town and stay somewhere a bit different.
Breakfast was very disappointing so I would personally give that a miss if staying again and also when we asked for a taxi upon leaving we had someone who turned up that was not a formal taxi and a friend I believe, As no formal receipt could be given. Also they charged us for sitting for a drink even though we were guests which I thought was strange ?"
"I was incredibly surprised on how beautiful it was - the pictures don’t do it justice. Our room was in the center of the town in a beautiful alley by an amazing restaurant. We had a private roof where we drank wine. Breakfast was lovely and the staff gave us amazing recommendations on activities during the day (we had a car). Staff were really really nice. I highly recommend this place, very romantic."
"The Feudi Mandolivo estate is lovely and run by the helpful and friendly Gino. If there is availability and you have the budget, book one of the two trulli apts. The other apts are nice but quite quite standard. The check-in process could be improved. We pressed the buzzer at the entrance gates, and they opened but no-one spoke. It was confusing to find where to go once inside the gate and after sitting outside the breakfast area for a while, drove up the hill and sat there. Eventually a woman came out and told us we needed to await Gino’s arrival. In the end we spotted the key was in the apt door so we let ourselves in, changed into our costumes and went and found the pool. The room was fine, although we had asked for a separate bed for my adult son and they provided a rock solid futon which was very uncomfortable. The setting helped make up for the shortcomings. The pool is lovely, pool towels were provided and breakfast down the hill was in a lovely setting overlooking the trulli buildings. Gino was friendly and welcoming. He very kindly posted back our hotel keys to the previous location as we had accidentally come away with them. We were very grateful for this."
"A very nice Masseria. It is besutiful, well maintained and taken care of.
I had two issues. One, being far from the nearest town, they have a restricted menu along the day, and dinner requires a reservation before 5 PM. Breakfast is very good. In general, service staff was not particularly nice, most look really annoyed to be there (with a few exceptions)- it might be a general “Puglian” attitude. The maids were extraordinary though- everything super clean/organized and really nice ladies.
The other issue I had is that I had to leave one night earlier (The reservation was for 7 nights), and although I let them know at the beggining of my stay that I had this logistical inconvenience that required me to depart earlier, they were not willing to refund my last night. More so, they were particularly rude about it. I have had that experience before and hotels always allow earlier departures if forcefully necessary. Although it is a really nice location and property, I dont know if I eould go back."
