"Our daughter was married just 15 minutes from the property and it was wonderful to have family stay together during the weekend! Each room is eloquent and private enough for the opportunity to get away! The kitchen and dining room were perfect for meals together! My only recommendation is more comfortable furniture in the living room to be able to gather in a more comfortable space. The outdoor grounds are fabulous! Selfishly I wish the front porch had a swing as it is the perfect spot to just watch the world go by—oh and a few trains but they were never a bother but rather brought all the more charm!"

"We had family come from all over for a wedding in Marion, SC. This house was perfect and allowed us to all be together throughout the weekend. The charm of this 1890 house was undeniable. Courtney was very easy to work with and quick to respond to our questions. The house is beautifully decorated and was well equipped, especially the kitchen.I highly recommend this property if you have an event nearby or are just passing through.Jennifer Hall"
"The house itself and near by houses on the same street are older but decently kept up, but please do your own research on this area prior to selecting this property. I was in a bit of a hurry on securing a place and this property allowed pets “with an added charge” not listed on the Expedia listing. Not being familiar with any areas surrounding Florence I wish I would have taken the time to properly research. "
