Oceanfront 2 bedroom condo- Pet Friendly- Mermaids Retreat

Oceanfront, first floor condo with private walkway to the beach. Our cozy condo offers 2 bedrooms/ 2 baths and has everything you will need for a perfect vacation getaway.
* 2 parking spaces are located in the gravel parking area.
*Pets are allowed with a pet fee- $125 non-refundable pet fee for one dog and a $200 non-refundable pet fee for two dogs.
(Must message me before booking to confirm it is okay you bring your pet)
*Linens are NOW PROVIDED

Just steps to the beach through your own private walkway. The Mermaids Retreat is located approximately 15-20 walking distance to the pier and only about 5-10 minutes from the boardwalk. The condo features two bedrooms with one queen sized bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin sized beds in the second bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen and washer & dryer available. Private parking.

Other things to note:
Pet Policy: • Two pet maximum ($125 non-refundable pet fee for one dog, $200 non-refundable pet fee for two dogs) • Under 50lbs • Crate trained/crated when you are not with them • House trained • Please no pets on the furniture
*** If pets are allowed on furniture and pet hair is found all over furniture, you will not receive your security deposit back (security deposit is refundable, the pet fee is not). We want everyone to enjoy their vacation with their furry friend, but we do expect our guest to respect our property and rules. ****

We had a wonderful vacation with our family and two Yorkies! The Mermaid’s Retreat had everything we needed to feel right at home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to meal prep, cook and clean. Check in/check out was a breeze. Walking distance to the boardwalk.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The apartment had such a wonderful beachy cottage feel! It was a very short walk to the beach. We could site on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean!

Great location, responsive host

Alana was an extremely attentive host not only before and during our stay, but also after. We let her know that we are interested in Carolina Beach and the NC coast for retirement, and she generously shared contacts in the area for us to further explore the market. Mermaids retreat was perfect for our long weekend getaway. Right on the beach. Hearing the waves right outside your door. Space was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Everything we needed for the two of us and most importantly we were able to bring our dog.

Everything was great! Property is very clean and pictures are accurate. Plenty of space for our family of four + one dog. Beach was clean and peaceful. Was super helpful to have locking outdoor closet for chairs and other sandy items. Covered parking also a huge plus. Lots of food options in walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Steps from the beach! Our dog and I walked a couple of miles on the beach each day. Clean white sand and awesome views from the balcony. Also, the breeze was nice and cool.My husband loved the area as well. His only drawback was his spinal stenosis, which makes it hard to walk. We look forward to being there again.

Older Condo but nicely maintained

The only reason this was not a 5 is because the complex is older and somewhat dated. It was clean with what we needed and convenient. I am not a fan of this section of the beach- fluffy sand with quick slope to the water make walking more of a challenge.
