Low Tide Luxe, A Northend Retreat

  • Summary:

    The Low Tide Luxe is a beach cottage that features a modern charm. This is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home located on Florida Ave. You're just two blocks from the beach access and minutes from the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, local eats, and all the laid-back coastal vibes. The north end of Carolina beach is definitely more private and laid back.



    The Space:

    We supply the following for each property: A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towels. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everyone has their own preferences for these =) Please review our house rules prior to your stay. The TV is equipped with roku. Please log in to your own streaming apps



    Other Things to Note:

    -Located on the North End with access to all outdoor activities "Pleasure Island" has to offer fishing, boating, biking, surfing, kayaking, and deep sea charters. Many amazing restaurants, eclectic drinking holes and coffee shops + Historic Ft. Fisher and the NC Aquarium. Check out Carolina Beach’s new mural project too! - Wilmington Airport and Downtown Wilmington less than 40 mins away. -There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project.

Our stay in Carolina Beach was during the July 4th celebrations this year, 2026. The house was very clean. As this house was pet-friendly, what was best about the property was the fenced in back yard for our dogs to enjoy. The full wrap around porch/deck was convenient to keep an eye on the dogs. The beach was about 1,000 feet away, very convenient. Communication with the host was easy, clear and concise. I would definitely stay here again.

The property we rented was clean and pet friendly, and a short walk to the beach. There was a fenced in yard which was great for us. This would be a great place to stay if you were bringing family along as well! The host responded fast to our questions and requests. When we first got there the AC wasn't putting out cool air fast enough and we called the number proved to us to contact the host. Within less than an hour an HVAC worker was there and had the air conditioning fixed and running. We would rent again!

Overall, the property was nice and met our needs. It was in a good location and we liked that we could bring pets. However, there was a lot of dog hair from previous renters and it was everywhere. We also found clumps of hair in the shower. The interior stairs leading down to ground level were not clean and had lots of bugs and cobwebs. We ended up only using the exterior stairs. The kitchen is also not very stocked- no baking dishes, minimal cups and plates, only two pans.
