Brandon was very responsive to us, which we so appreciated. My teen and I, new to NC, wanted a couple nights seaside and while it was hot and sunny out, we enjoyed the A/C working and having a clean place to sleep at the end of the day.
The only negative is that we had to park off site, which was $25/night ($50 total). Brandon was so helpful in steering us to which lots to use (thank you) and offered to reimburse us for parking, but when his VRBO message came through it said, “You can email to ********@****.com.” Not sure how to get reimbursement. Overall a great stay and would recommend.
We stayed for a quick weekend trip at Carolina Beach! The location cannot be beat- the condo building is right next to the Carolina Beach boardwalk. It had everything we needed for 2 people to stay.
Pros: location was amazing! Once we parked we could walk everywhere! Nice beach access and showers to clean up after beach. Great pool!
Cons: building is very dated. The bed was so uncomfortable- we made it through 2 nights, but could not have stayed longer. Had to park across the street- no parking was available under the building. No dryer in the unit.
Overall, it was a nice stay. We loved being so close to the beach and the boardwalk!
Location is ideal - walkable to all things Boardwalk, but beware of bed
We stayed at this property for 2 nights in July 2024.
Pros:
-the location is phenomenal. Walk straight down to the beach or get to anything on the boardwalk in minutes. We parked the car when we arrived and didn't move it until we left. Even with the busy boardwalk noise was not an issue.
- We were able to get the parking pass for this unit before checkin so we were able to park under the building and hang out at the beach for a few hours until the property was ready. We were lucky to find a spot under the building or we would have had to park across the street in a lot for Cabana residents.
- The removable/handheld showerhead made post-beach cleanup a breeze and had good pressure with enough hot water for all.
Cons:
- the queen bed is rough. It was very firm and shook from side to side whenever someone moved slightly. I brought my own pillows because I know I have issues on different beds, and even after having a mattress pad instacarted to our location I still woke up and was unable to turn my neck.
- We ran out on toilet paper after the first night. There wasn't a full roll on the holder when we arrived and there were no extras left in the cabinets. I messaged the host before 9am Sunday morning to let them know and asked if some more could be provided then we headed out to the beach. I heard nothing back from the host for 24 hours until I notified them we checked out.
-The dishes in the cabinets were dirty and greasy so we had to wash them before using.
The location was nice, walking distance to the boardwalk. Parking was horrendous, the cleaniness was horrible. Condom wrappers left in the nightstand drawer, the bed linens were disgusting, the bed was awful. Thin walls, didnt get any sleep plus with the bed, and the air running was so loud. Very dusty and dirty! dust coming outside out the closet that didnt completely close. The ceiling light fans were also dirty and gross. I could go on, but wont. Definitely not worth it for the price and plus a cleaning fee, was a rip off!

Conveniently located
As described the property is conveniently located that you can park the car and not use it again until you leave.
It claims to sleep 5. That's a stretch as the two of us cluttered the unit with our belongings. The unit appeared to be clean until seeing the mold ridden shower curtains. The curtains were so moldy they were stuck together. This brought into question the cleanliness of the unit. If the cheap shower curtains can't be replaced at regular intervals or clean the dust caked exhaust fan it brings into question what other corners are being cut.
