I was concerned about safety because I was traveling alone. I was happy how well lit the grounds were. I would have liked a second lock at the top of the door.

Kings way Inn-Caro
The motel room was clean and spacious. It was a little musty from being closed up but after going in and out a few times it was great. I would stay there again.

our room was full of flies and other bugs, and on top of that we had to leave in the middle of the night because my husband woke up with itchy bumps all over his skin

The owner or employee that was going to check me in was very rude. He canceled my reservation with Expedia supposedly 10 days previously, but nobody told me. He was not very sympathetic at all. Very selfish man. Instead of honoring whatever price Expedia had listed, he'd rather be a jerk about it and make nothing. We found another motel down the road that was much better

Outside was clean. Room was spacious. Looks like started renovating a bit; as the bathroom was updated but carpet was very dingy and there was a funky smell in room. Also for some reason there was no shower curtain. Breakfast was continental with not many choices. Overall I think it was a bit expensive but there were no other options around.

It was just far enough away from downtown. The drive way entrance to the property was really narrow and hard to see.

We stayed one night while in town for a funeral. The property is OK. Person at front desk was not talkative and took a while to get there for checkin. We decided to go to a local diner for breakfast since the prepackaged donuts and the cereal containers were not what we were hungry for.

The sheets and room had an odor which bothered my wife. Additionally, the AC vents were caked full of dust. But, on the positive side, we wanted a bed for the night and that part was provided nicely.
