"Our party of 7 had a blast! Terri is a wonderful host, responding promptly and communicating effectively. We were offered an early check-in and a late check-out, which made the weekend getaway perfect!The property is easily accessible from the main road, carefully maintained, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the dining table comfortably seats all of us. The beds in each bedroom are comfy.Our group enjoyed various relaxing outdoor spots, on the deck, in the lanai, around the firepit, on the dock, and in the kayaks and canoe :)The lake is clean, and we're lucky to have nice weather that some of us even swim a bit in October! Definitely would recommend to anyone!Thank you, Terri, for having us! Everyone in our group has already started talking about next time :)"

"The property is definitely dated, but v clean. Needed a place to stay for a local race which required 3 nights accommodation. Price was right, and then I was also informed at check in that bc the pool wasn’t open, I would be receiving an additional discount. Nice! Staff were wonderful, and provided me a lot of detail about what amenities were on site, AND the restaurant was open until 10pm which was great! Bed was comfy, loved having a balcony overlooking the little pond in front of the property. Parking and room access was easy, and room was well-equipped with a fridge and toiletries. Also the softest towels I’ve ever experienced at a hotel! Would love to come back in the summer with my kiddo to explore the area and facilities further. "

The cottage felt private yet accessible—with a dock, a canoe/paddle boat, and even a bunkie adding extra flexibility.Whether lounging inside or exploring the area, we felt at home right away. It’s a wonderful place for friends or family looking to enjoy the Haliburton Highlands. Highly recommended."
