"The landlord was extremely helpful. Allowed us to enter out room early. Was very helpful, had a problem with our tv came and changed it straight away. Nothing seem to a trouble i didnt want an egg, took it off no problem. The breakfast was a full english, and was excellent. There was absolutely no grease on plate and tasted yummy. Had a big pot of tea with breakfast, which is good as myself and friend drink a lot of tea lol. I havent slept in a single bed since i left home quite a few years ago....

"The owners were very courteous and friendly. We only stayed the one night, but we were impressed with the condition and standard of the room. All the little extras were extreamly thoughtful, inc a small sewing kit, playing cards, a fridge with fresh milk, plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits, toiletries, iron, radio, tissues, water, immaculately clean linen and towels. Breakfast was tasty and filling with a variety of hot food as well as cereals, fruit, toast and juice. Very highly recommended....

"The B&B is perfectly positioned only 3 mins walk from The Bridlington Spa where we went to watch McFly. My daughter and I felt safe walking back to the B&B late at night. The room was beautiful with en-suite and special chocolates with a coffee station. The bed was really comfy. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and cooked specially for each guest. I would highly recommend it and we will be going back when we need to go to another gig. Thankyou."

"Absolutely amazing stay stayed 2 nights Donna & Andy are amazing couldn't do enough the breakfast OMG! The selection is unreal cereals fresh yogurt & fresh fruit toast & a selection of jams the breakfast it's self was cooked 2 order with fresh orange & apple juice to help your self to a pot of tea or coffee nothing was a problem then room was lovely had the best sleep ever well be coming back without a doubt "

No problem if you are out and about most of the time but staying in might be a bit crammed. "We arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon in our 1936 Riley. All the parking spaces were occupied. The landlord moved his own car further away so we could park our car so it could be seen from our room. The breakfasts were good. An altogether comfortable stay."

Comfortable stay
"We hadn't stayed here before and it had been a long time since we'd been in Scarborough so didn't really have any expectations. We were 'upgraded' to a sea view room on the 4th floor but this is a 19th Century building so don't expect palatial. Everything was clean but tired but this is reflected in the price. The communal areas are stunning. The room wasn't serviced but we were only there 2 nights so that wasn't a problem and reception happily supplied us with more tea/coffee/milk. The Spa bath didn't work - again not too much of an issue. I also want to give a special thank you to Ann Bell who we 'happened across' whilst having we were orientating ourselves. She went out of her way to give us a guided tour and was very informative and helpful. 5* for Ann. On the whole our stay was comfortable and enjoyable but you do have to remember the age of the building and its' constraints. Parking could be an issue in the height of the Summer I suspect but it is certainly on our 'go back to' list"
