The property and room are beautiful. Brand new and very clean. The beds are insanely Comfortable. The outside has a river near by. It’s all very beautiful. Would love to stay again.

The suites are amazing, very clean, but the property is under construction. Our stay was wonderful but there is no restaurants or shop in the hotel. They are busy adding these amenities, so it will be a 5 * hotel.

Brand new hotel. Spacious and well thought out suite. Beautiful location right in front of the Mississippi river and at walking distance from the Carleton Place centre. Excellent location to visit the surroundings (Perth, Merrickville, Almonte etc) My secret is now revealed!

Gorgeous property and will only get better as the riverside outdoor space, café and gym are finished. The staff was wonderful - helpful, friendly amd full of suggestions about what to see and where to eat in town. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding stay from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and professional, check-in was smooth, and every detail felt thoughtfully handled. We enjoyed every minute of our two night stay. It was so peaceful and quiet. The building is solid and we couldn’t hear anything or anyone. Everything was meticulously clean and in pristine condition. The bed, linens and pillows were top quality and so lovely. Even the detergent used on the towels was beautiful. We enjoyed walking the trails nearby, visiting the shops downtown, and even enjoyed excellent fish and chips at the recommended restaurant down the street. Overall fantastic experience and well worth every cent. We look forward to returning again in the future when the piano wine bar is open.

I loved this property not only for its beautiful centuries old architecture but the improvements that they have made. The rooms are really spacious and well laid out. The kitchen amenities are great. The people that work there are wonderful and made check-in and -out really easy. Thank you especially to Teagan and Patti who really did a great job of making us feel comfortable.

The hotel just opened Dec. 2025. Our room had a full kitchen (!) but there were no other food / drink options on site. No TV in the room. Very loud fan on the AV. - Bed was comfortable.

The staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and beautiful. We will definitely be staying there again. The only thing I would say is that they have no TV on the rooms. So make sure to bring an I pad if you need something to watch before bedtime
