The staff are very friendly. We checked in quite late and the man at the desk was very nice and accommodating. The rooms are nice and clean and its very affordable.

Clean, good sized rooms, friendly desk service - only thing is that slthough there was both a fridge and microwave in the room, there was no coffee pot... but nit a huge problem at all - would definitely stay again next time i need a place in Carleton Place

This is a very convenient location right on Hwy 7, which I thought would be noisy, but it was very quiet. The room was spacious and newly renovated and had a fridge and a microwave which was great as I ordered in food and was able to have it over two nights. Unfortunately, cabs are very difficult to secure in a timely fashion, and I was a vendor in the art show at the arena, so the lovely owner offered to drive me there himself! He was so friendly and sweet. The price was right, and I would stay there again if I am again in Carleton Place.

my wife is the judge and she says it is one of the best, if not the best places to stay. We found it to be super clean, easy to access and the restaurant across the street next door (Recommended by Kit the manager was really top notch. (THRUWAY RESTAURANT)

Exceptional service
We had a pleasant stay at the Barons Motor Inn. We has an issue with our car (unrelated with the hotel - flat tire) which was recognized by the front desk who alerted us of the problem and contacted a friend who was able to inflate the tire sufficiently to be able to get to the closest Canadian Tire (A1 Towing). Exceptional service!

Great Place!
I stayed at the Barons Motor Inn for two nights. The place is great! My room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. I look forward to my next stay there. The front desk staff was very accommodating.

Comfortable beds and pillows. Pot lights in the ceiling were nice. Decorated nicely in rooms. Nice table and chairs and couch. Nice quiet air conditioner. Small fridge is a good size. On the outside it could be more inviting with a nice patio set and more plants.Put a picnic table and gazebo on the beautiful back yard would be a wonderful touch to the property. Towels could be nicer brown are faded . Toilet is low to the floor so be careful.

I was in this Motel for 2 nights and everything was very good . The room is clean , it doesn’t have the moisture smell like other hotels . The bed was comfortable. The person in the front desk was very polite and helpful. Very good experience.

The man at the front desk (I should have asked his name) was super friendly and helpful. The check in was so easy as was the check out. I wanted to make some tea and he brought me nice little coffee cup and plug in water kettle:) The price is reasonable. And the location is great! There is a nice little area with restaurants on Bridge St. close by. I had great Indian food there. And on another night we I went to a gastro pub near by. Both places were amazing and everyone I encounter was friendly.

From the moment I walked into the hotel, the owner was most pleasant and extremely helpful. The room was far larger than I expected and was so clean. I had occasion to chat with the owner and his wife a couple of times and they were very friendly every time I chatted with them. I was staying there under difficult circumstances and when the owner learned of this, he was most empathetic and compassionate. It made the trip a more pleasant experience even under difficult circumstances.
