Enjoy a unique getaway in a peaceful, exceptional setting! Just 20 km from Château de Montségur, 31 km from Monts d’Olmes, near Foix (18 km) and the medieval town of Mirepoix (23 km), Le Chant de la Rivière is an authentic cottage set in a former horn comb factory, full of history.



This warm and comfortable cottage for 2 offers the inviting feel of a family home. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace, and a bright veranda. Bed linen is provided, and firewood is available in winter. No cleaning fee is charged, but please leave the property clean and tidy.



Enjoy a unique stay on the banks of the Douctouyre River, lulled by the sound of water and with hiking trails starting right at your door.



On-site experiences: canoe available for exploring the river, evenings by the fire or in the veranda, and guided tours in a Citroën 2CV to discover Ariège’s hidden gems, complete with local stories (available for an extra charge).

J'étais enchanté par ce petit paradis dans le creux d'une vallée. Les propriétaires sont à l'image de ce petit coin douillet. Très accueillant et soucieux de faire plaisir. Nicole et sa 2 chevaux m 'ont fait passer un merveilleux moment dans la région. C'est un lieu de vie que je recommande fortement et en plus on y dort très bien.
