"It's a fairly unexceptional hotel, however, it has absolutely everything that you need for a night stay. I utilized the laundry and the complimentary breakfast was more than I was anticipating. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is close to several restaurants and grocery stores."

"The staff was great! The room was clean and the pool was big enough but not super deep for our youngest. It was close to the MAC where our event was and we paid a fraction of the price we would have anywhere else. Only complaint was one of the beds squeaked anytime someone moved."

"A pleasure to stay in this home! The host was responsive, the home was well stocked with extra linens and kitchen items, and the laundry room was really helpful. It was amazing to have a home that was accessible for people with mobility issues, especially in icy weather where steps are dangerous. There was a shovel available to keep the walkway clear. My kids really enjoyed the ping pong table as well. I really appreciated the host and this home for our trip. "

"This hotel is run on the bare minimum. In 3 days I only saw 2 people working there, and a third when I checked out. When checking in, the desk attendant seemed to be sleeping in the lobby. The bedding on the king bed were queen size. I don't know what all the wiring and connectors were that were in an open box nex to the TV, but I've never seen anything like it out in the open in a hotel room. Everything looked old and worn. The breakfast was practically non-existent. The apple juice was almost completely water with just a bit of juice mixed in. The lids for coffee cups were not the right size to fit properly so you couldn't even take a cup of coffee to go. I have stayed in AmericInns on a number of occasions and generally the experience has been good. But, I will not be staying at this one on my next trip to the Council Bluffs area. However, I suspect that will not be a decision I will have to make because I can't imagine this place will be open much longer."
