"Such a peaceful experience listening to the waves all day/night and the views of the ocean and other islands are spectacular. Thank you to Roxanne and Miguel for making this trip so memorable! (Tip: ask Miguel to scoot you over to Anse La Roche for an unforgettable day/meal). Roxanne’s cooking at the restaurant was the best I’ve had in years. Delicious and gorgeously presented. Excellent stay! Will be back! "

"This is the best place to stay near Trafalgar Falls. Berkey is the best host ever and his cottage is right in a natural paradise with flowers mountains all around… Don’t miss the opportunity to relax in an authentic location in Dominica!"

"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm.
They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver.
The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it...

"This property is truly unique, as the owner built it by hand. It was beautiful and clean, and had a certain charm you don’t find often. Would definitely recommend!"

"The place is in a good location and what really makes it great is that we got a card for free access to the local beach. It was very clean when we arrived and Chris, the superintendent was very helpful and accommodating. He even lent us his umbrella when it rained! The grounds are well kept and create a nice clean setting. There's even a swimming pool! "

"My partner and I stayed here while visiting North Caicos and were extremely pleased with the location, the cleanliness of the villa, and the surrounding area. The property is just a 1-minute drive or a 5-minute bike ride to a gorgeous, secluded beach, and about a 20-minute drive to nearby restaurants.
This villa does require a ferry ride between Providenciales and North Caicos, and Ransel, the property manager, was exceptionally courteous and supportive in helping arrange transportation and...

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana, All Suite Resort - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The resort was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Our host, Bolivar, was amazing, so welcoming and attentive. It was really nice to have someone check in on us every day and make sure everything was going well.
We also really enjoyed the food and the variety of options available. My friend loved the seafood (lobster, crab, and shrimp), and I absolutely loved the steak! The beach was gorgeous and we loved that we can get snacks anywhere and anytime. We would definitely come back Majestic Mirage.
Negative but not necessarily towards this resort:
Canadians seem to pay almost 30% more for everything, excursions, clothing, tipping, and currency exchange. For example, I exchanged a $100 bill at the casino and received approximately $60 back. I understand exchange rates, but 30-40%is a lot. This must deter a lot of Canadians.
I also wish there was a welcome package or more consideration for guests who don’t drink alcohol. Alcohol seemed to be a major focus, which would be great if we drank. We’re just a different type of guest, but we still tipped for every non-alcoholic drink we ordered.
Lastly, this is more of a complaint with Expedia. Our flight did not include luggage, and Arajet charged over $500 CAD for two checked bags. In addition, we had no transportation arranged upon arrival and were approached by many people claiming to be taxis, which felt uncomfortable and confusing. I wish this information had been made much clearer ahead of time."
"We did have an issue with Christmas Eve dinner reservations. We did not know they were needed until I saw it posted in Facebook. Made a note on Facebook and received a call from Guest Services. Went there spoke to a representative who then got the assistant manager. Her name was Ines. She listened to my concerns as why we were not told during the check in process that certain restaurants were closed on Christmas Eve and that reservations were needed. I told her it was our anniversary and we wanted to go to the steak house but it was closed. We decided to go to the buffet after speaking to people who we met there. They have been to the resort for 5 years at the same time and stated the buffet was excellent. They were right. Ines was there when we went to dinner. She wished us a Happy Anniversary and took off. When we go back to our room she had it decorated with balloons, a heart of rose petals on the bed and Mylar balloons saying Happy Anniversary. She went above and beyond to make our night special. She also called the next day to make sure everything was ok. We truly appreciated what she did for us Thank you Ines for all you did. This is our 2nd time at Majestic and we will be back next Christmas. Everyone from the staff was so friendly and always remembered us when we came in the restaurants or buffet. They remembered what we drank etc. We had a fantastic time"
