We really enjoyed our stay, with six of us staying comfortably in the house. The house was easy to find, on the outskirts of a small village and surrounded by peaceful countryside. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and had prepared drinks and snacks for our arrival. A small issue with the Wifi was resolved on the same day with no further problems. The nearest supermarkets were 20-30mins away, and we went to the Monday market at Mirepoix twice. The pool was lovely, maintained daily and very clean. Merci beaucoup a Michel et Cyril!

Literie très moyenne. Location de vacances plutôt pour été mais en hiver c’est pas très grand . Eau chauffant que la nuit et fin de journée plus d’eau chaude pour douche ….

Parfait pour des vacances en famille

Belle location à la campagne avec vue magnifique de la terrasse et sur les Pyrénées de la cour. Grande piscine et exterieur très bien équipés, plusieurs salons de jardin, transats, barbecue et plancha. La maison aurait besoin d'un petit coup de jeune mais le sympathique accueil des propriétaires et les petites attentions gustatives font oublier ce detail.

Maison agréable et reposante pour toute la famille!

Maison à la campagne, au calme, très fonctionnelle, ventilo dans les chambres , grande piscine au top pour les grands et les petits avec tout le nécessaire, transat chaise table plusieurs parasols coin détente.... barbecue plancha ... Très bon accueil de cyril et Michel, personne très agréable et jovial ! Très bon séjour d'une semaine dans cette maison, merci, kenavo!

Nous avons eu un accueil sympathique par les propriétaires et nous avons passé une bonne semaine. Néanmoins, l'état général de la maison nécessiterait quelques améliorations.

Michel, Cyril, merci ...

Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques !!! Une maison de campagne confortable dans un quartier charmant. La maison est équipée de tout pour vivre comme dans votre propre appartement. Les véritables œuvres d'art de Michel et Cyril nous regardent de tous les murs. Les meubles sont de véritables antiquités et peuvent être utilisés normalement. La maison est entourée d'une nature préservée. Les Pyrénées ont l'air de loin. Il n'y a pas de civilisation bruyante autour de nous. Il y a le silence, la paix, la nature ... Mais la valeur la plus importante de cet endroit est Michel et son fils. Ils créent l'atmosphère de ce lieu. Nous n'avons jamais rencontré une telle hospitalité et ouverture. Ces personnes donnent leur coeur à leurs invités. Rien ne peut le remplacer. Cette atmosphère nous a touchés tout au long de notre séjour. Traumhafte Ruhe in ländlicher Umgebung

Wir (2 Erwachsene, drei Teenager) hatten das große Glück, dieses Haus noch sehr kurzfristig für 14 Tage im Juli 2019 mieten zu können. Alles hat gepasst: genug Raum für alle (jedes Kind ein Zimmer); verschiedene Rückzugsmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich, je nach Tageszeit und Sonnenstand passend; ein recht großer Pool (ca. 11 m lang), der wirklich erfrischend war und auch zum Bahnenschwimmen taugt; Schatten ist immer zu finden, auch wenn die Schirme aufgrund des Windes nicht immer geöffnet werden können; insgesamt ist es sehr windig, aber deshalb ist das Haus ja auch eine ehemalige Mühle, Vorteil: auch bei hohen Temperaturen ist es immer angenehm. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Drei Bäder stehen zur Verfügung. Insgesamt waren Haus und Grundstück größer als wir erwartet hatten. Das Haus ist mit Kunstwerken der Vermieter ausgestattet, was wir sehr ansprechend und individuell und auch gemütlich fanden. Überhaupt die Vermieter: Monsieur Marin wohnt nebenan, ist Künstler und ein ausgesprochen angenehmer, aufmerksamer und interessanter Mensch, wie auch sein Sohn Cyril, der Fotograf ist. Beide waren zurückhaltend und daran interessiert, uns die Zeit so schön wie möglich zu machen, bei Fragen aber immer erreichbar. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche sehenswerte Orte. Neben Carcassonne ist Mirepoix mit seinem wunderschönen Marktplatz sehr zu empfehlen; Foix mit seiner imposanten Burg; die steinzeitlichen Höhlen der Umgebung (wir waren in Niaux, vorreservieren!); sehr lohnenswert auch die Fahrt auf dem unterirdischen Fluss von Labouiche. Der Strand von Narbonne ist 1,5 Stunden entfernt. Auch schöne Fahrten in die Pyrenäen, die man vom Haus aus sieht, sind natürlich möglich. Wer es mag: dadurch, dass der nächste größere Ort ein ganzes Stück weg ist, hat man nachts einen wunderbaren Sternenhimmel. Zum Einkauf ist das Auto erforderlich (Villefranche ca. 18 km). Zum Bäcker sind es 6 km nach Salles-sur-l'Hers. Aber das kann man gut mit Ausflügen verbinden. Erwähnen sollte man noch, dass dies nicht die allertouristischste Gegend ist. Das ist durchaus angenehm, führt aber dazu, dass selbst an vielbesuchten Orten oft nur Französisch gesprochen wird (auch kein Englisch). Grundlegende Französischkenntnisse schaden also nicht. Insgesamt also absolut empfehlenswert!!!
