"Finding a clean, budget-friendly motel in the Ruidoso area can be surprisingly tough for a solo traveler—even during the off-season. However, this property really delivered for a quick 1-2 night stay. The interiors look recently remodeled and have a modern, Choice Hotel-style feel. While the complimentary breakfast could use a bit more variety, it’s hard to complain given the price point. If you want something heartier, the Log Cabin Restaurant is just a short drive north and serves incredible French toast and pancakes."

"The room was very roomy, enjoyed the refrigerator and microwave. The room floors appeared clean, but I wiped up some dripped water with a kleenex and it was pretty dirty. Everything else was great. They need to make sure their employees are REALLY mopping the floors and not trust they are doing it! May also need to invest in a new ice machine as it took a long time to fill my cup."
