This architectural designed home is absolute beachfront living offering 5 bedrooms with ducted airconditioning throughout and sleeps up to 14 guests .

Bunya By The Sea is the ultimate lifestyle and getaway destination, conveniently located within easy reach of quiet pristine beaches, gourmet restaurants and wineries, a bustling café scene, quality shopping, and some of Victoria’s most popular tourist attractions.

At Bunya By The Sea, you are only a 2 minute walk to beautiful beaches where you can take time out to recharge, do a sunset walk, make sandcastles with the kids or find a quiet nook on the beach to read and snooze; this could be just what you need. This is the perfect location for your holiday.

Bunya By The Sea is set within the grounds of one of Phillip Island’s first homesteads (Woolamai House). The historic homestead was built in 1876 by the famed Melbourne Cup horse trainer Captain John Cleeland.

Great beachfront retreat house

Amazing place to stay for a big group of friends near the beach. Nice features like a ping pong table, big bedrooms, beautiful environment, close to san remo. Loads of space for parking too. Has pretty much everything you need for a stay, just make sure to bring extra towels and toiletries for a big group!

Beautiful house that was true to the description online. We especially loved all the sport equipment and games that were available to use. Host was relaxed and very hospitable - really appreciate the notification of being able to check in a little earlier than scheduled. Great location!

Great stay at Bunya by the Sea

Our family of 13 had a wonderful relaxing stay at Bunya by the Sea. The location is ideal, short walk to the Cape Woolamai beach and sea views from the front balcony. The house is well equipped and clean. The hosts, Paul and Sonia, were very responsive and approved early check in and late check out, which made our stay very enjoyable. Great quiet neighborhood for a relaxing holiday and we would love to come back for future holidays. Thanks Paul and Sonia!

Amazing Escape

Our group of 10 spent the weekend at Bunya by the Sea and we just LOVED it!! The house is modern and well furnished and accomdating for all our needs. We were able to cook our meals with all the necessities avaliable to us. The house was very spacious which is good when there is such a big group staying. All linen was supplied and the beds were super comfy. Access to WiFi, Netflix and Foxtel was also great to have. Location was across from the beach and only a short walk through the path. We had a great time and we were sad to leave. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Amazing Experience

Our stay at Bunya by the Sea was an absolute delight! The house was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities my family & I needed for a comfortable stay. The decor is modern and stylish, and the location was perfect - close to the beach, shops, restaurants, and local activities. But what really made our stay special was the host. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. They provided recommendations for local attractions, gave us free entry to one of them, and even left a bag of treats upon arrival. Overall, I highly recommend Bunya by the Sea accommodation for anyone looking for a modern, comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Pretty for family gathering.

This was a prefect property in terms facility and location for our family gathering for my father’s 80th. Even though the weather was not optimal, we found the walks nearby were great to do. The in-house kayak and table tennis were very popular amongst the young adults.

Great Family Holiday at Bunya By The Sea

Bunya By The Sea had a huge input to our great family holiday. The house was not only very clean and located in a beautiful part of Philip Island, it also accomodated all the needs for 3 families. Will definitely book again!

Perfect home for our family fun weekend

Our family fun weekend was made so special this year as we had this beautiful home to stay. It was absolutely perfect for the 12 of us. We had some Rain which didn’t dampen our spirits though as this house had plenty of room to be inside with each other. Everything we needed was in the home. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

Ideal holiday spot for multiple families

Traveling to Australia from Europe we had searched a number of properties in Victoria that would suit multiple families for our Christmas back home. Immediately we felt Bunya by the Sea was the perfect property and was delighted when our booking was confirmed. The house ticked a number of boxes, most importantly close the beach and big enough to house 3 generations, including 8 grandkids. We initially booked a 5 day stay but was able to change that to 7 days with ease. Paul and Sonia were very easy to deal with and accommodating to requests we had, always very quick to answer both in the lead up and during our stay. The house itself was big enough to sleep multiple families and multiple kids filling the various bunks. Despite 4 families in the house we never felt on top of each other with enough space for everyone to do their own thing and enjoy their time. The amenities were perfect with TVs in each room, PlayStation and 3D Movies all a hit with the kids. Plenty of equipment and games to take to the beach all made it enjoyable. There were many positives and we would definitely stay again, however a few areas prevent this property being marked as outstanding. Overall cleanliness of the property could be improved. In addition to arriving with a flooded dishwasher, as the cleaners had most likely used the wrong detergent, we encountered ants throughout the house from the moment we arrived. There too were a number of areas that require a more thorough clean like under and behind the beds and toilet doors. The house is very popular during the summer period, we arrived directly after guests and the house had new guests directly after our checkout. I think in general, the house would benefit from a days break to ensure a thorough clean between guests. The extra day of cleaning would also help ensure that everything in the house works, as there were some things that were broken, or missing that made the stay a little less enjoyable than it could have been. eg 2 of the bikes had punctures, telescope was missing parts. The house is advertised to sleep 14 and does that perfectly. There could be more glasses and better suited crockery for the dishwasher but otherwise a fanstastic place to spend time at the beach in a lovely home they is well serviced. Thanks Paul and Sonia.

Excellence by the bay

This house was better than we were expecting, we were very impressed with the cleanliness, amenity and location. The views were gorgeous and wrapped around the property, a few nights of a super relaxing vibe and lovely evening skies was all we needed to completely unwind from the day. Highly recommend this property and we will be back!
