"We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are on the second floor so our kids got their energy out going up and down. We enjoyed having the water nearby, the use of the kayaks and the outdoor space. If we come this way again, we will return here."
"A very nice hotel in a beautiful location; Property is well designed, built, maintained and clean; With only one exception, all staff were very friendly and helpful; Bar and restaurant are very good; Elevators were sometimes temporarily not working, ostensibly due to over-heating, so I think this should be corrected."
Lakehouse at Pillar Point on Lake Ontario, a relaxing home with stunning sunsets
10/10 Excellent
"Great view of the water, with an excellent set up to enjoy dinner with a sunset. Awesome selection of games and puzzles. Property very well cared for and communication from host was thorough. Only 45 minute drive to Alexandria Bay, with Clayton right between. Will definitely keep this location in mind for any future visits to 1000 island area!"
"Well I’ll start off with there is plenty of drinking water because the tap water is sulphur water. The house was not clean, the shower curtain was full of black moldy water (we cleaned it), the rear door to the deck and water was covered in bugs and cobwebs on the inside of the screens and doors (we cleaned it) there was a pair of someone’s socks in the one sofa (left them) there was a half full water bottle under one bed upstairs (left it) and for some reason two tread mills piled on top of each other in the great room. And lastly the cookware was dirty. A few knives and silverware we had to clean the food of off before using them. We also cleaned every dish and utensil we used before using it. The host needs a new cleaning person. There was no cleaning beside maybe a quick what you can see wipe down. Otherwise, it was great, only complaints is the sulphur water (tell people up front) and the cleanliness. The bushes hang over coming into the driveway, my truck is getting the scratches buffed out next week. Oh and there are a lot of kids running around on foot, bikes, golf carts, etc through the yards, I believe they are full time residents. It met our needs for a place to stay while attending Memorial Day ceremonies."
"Stay was wonderful- room was clean, spacious and newly updated. Comfy king bed and walking distance to great shops and food in town. Highly recommend! "
"It’s an amazing place! Lots to do around the property and the homes are just like being in your own we had a huge 5 bedroom house with 3 bathrooms they are clean modern beautiful views all around thanks for the stay! We will return great people who work there and Own it! "
"The house was well kept and clean. Loved the attention to detail like extra coffee pods, trash bags, toiletries, spices, paper products, etc. Andy was great with communication and making sure our stay was pleasant. Beautiful view and location was great. Would stay there again."
"Nice rooms for myself & friend. 1 portable heater. 3 ceiling fans. 1 standing fan. 1 cup keurig. Coffee maker. Do not do over 10 miles over speed limit on road. Lake front across road is private property only. Nice cottage. Pleasant stay. "
