Not the actual Four Seasons...

Be aware the misleading name "Four Seasons" is just the name of this rather low-end apartment block, it has nothing to do with the hotel chain at all. Apartment and building are old and tired. Ok for a cheap room to stay a night but not much more than that. Amazing view.

Miserable stay

It all began with frustrating news that the keys have to be collected from a different address. The property is run-down and feels extremely cheap. The sofa is unusually low, which makes it uncomfortable, and to make matters worse, the foam padding is basically gone—you can literally feel the wooden frame underneath. No cushions. There is an oven, but no oven tray or a roasting dish provided, so I couldn’t use the oven. There is a kitchen but the cookware is minimal, overused, broken. The tip of the kitchen knife was broken off as well. The bedding and mattress are the cheapest possible. I even found the exact mattress online for only R4,080 (€180)—so you can imagine the “comfort” level. The bed linen is so thin that it is transparent. The duvet cover is much bigger than the duvet itself. I can’t but mention that the duvet itself is record thin. Check out the pictures; they say it all. Almost 200 flats are serviced by just one working lift—the second one was out of order for over a month. This means extremely long waits. One time, we decided to walk up to the 14th floor, only to discover you can’t open the stairwell door from the stairs into the building—it only works in the opposite direction. They’ve recently installed a facial recognition system, which you now need to access the building, parking, or any floor. It only worked for one day at a time, so during our 3-night stay, we had to redo it daily. Very frustrating and time-wasting experience.

Não é um hotel e sim um prédio com alguns apartamentos servindo de hospedagens e isso não ficou claro em nenhum momento. Ao chegarmos ao hotel o segurança do local não soube nos orientas muito bem e ficamos super preocupadas, até que ele entendeu de qual apartamento se tratava... após isso, tivemos que colocar crédito no celular pra ligações (por sorte não era nossa primeira estadia e já tinhamos o chip local), o segurança ligou para o proprietário que veio nos recepcionar. A experiência do check-in foi bem ruim. No geral, o apartamento se parece com as fotos, a vista é maravilhosa, porém o prédio não é dos mais legais, fica numa região bem complicada de sair a noite e é bem barulhento (moro em SP então nao foi um problema pra mim rs). O wi-fi oscila muito. Tivemos problema com a torradeira e dessa vez o proprietário foi super solícito e resolveu imediatamente, foi muito bom.

The view is spectacular! Sad to see not many amenities provided like salt and pepper or a small sachet of washing powder. These are just extra touches that would have been nice. The check in process was hard as for some reason the numbers provided weren't working to call, only text. So it became a bit stressful worrying that we wouldn't be able to check in. But once checked in all was good. Great central location. There is safe underground parking. Overall the view was the major standout!

Not even remotely close to being the Four Seasons, and I'm not sure how that can get away with using the name. This is your basic chinese investment property - low grade and skimpy. The florescent lighted hallways smell like cigarettes and cheap laundry detergent, the furniture is junky plastic knockoffs and the stand alone heating/cooling unit is so loud you have to turn it on at night. I cut my trip short I hated this place so much.

เชคอินหน้าตึกริมถนนเลยพอถึงให้ whatapp บอกเค้า เค้าจะเดินมาหาแล้วให้กุญแจห้องและรีโมทเปิดปิดทางเข้าที่จอดรถ มีช่องจอดรถของตัวเองแต่วนสูง 6 ชั้นกว่าจะถึง ห้องพักวิวดีมากหันหน้าเข้า table mountain เต็มๆ แต่เตียงนอนห่วยมาก เล็กและสปริงเหมือนใกล้พัง ไม่มีน้ำดื่มให้ มีผ้าขนหนู สบู่แชมพู รอบข้างคาเฟ่ชิคๆ อร่อยๆ เยอะ สะดวกมากสำหรับอาหารเช้าและขนม เชคเอ้าท์แค่เอากุญแจฝาก reception ด้านล่างตึก แล้วออกมาได้

The apartment is situated in a bit of a dodgy area so it’s not safe to walk around. It was in what looked like an old office block. It was light and clean with great views. Good bed. The TV is hidden behind a unit so tricky to see. The bathroom is v tiny. The main issue was the noise from another room which woke me at 4am one night and 1 am the nd t. Shouting and whooping and door slamming. I reported it the first night but it happened again and again. The security guard was very understanding but I text the owner who basically said that there were residents in the building and there was little he could do.

Adorei o hotel. Super prático o check-in e check-out. Hotel confortável, super limpo. Foi feita a limpeza a cada 2 dias. Internet Wi-Fi com funcionamento perfeito. Vista para a Table Mountain MARAVILHOSA!!! Cozinha montada e equipada. Passei 7 dias e me senti em casa. Com certeza indicarei e se voltar a Cape Town, com certeza me hospedaria de novo.

Amazing views

Amazing views, very well located, spacious place. It can get Hot during the day, the AC is loud and doesnt do a very good job but no prob sleeping at night with just the ceiling fan.

Room with a view

Our first visit to Cape Town was made even better by the apartment. The water shortage in CT is acute and we wanted to not use any more than the minimum amount of water so were able to use the bowls and pots from the kitchen to collect water and reuse it as advised. The apartment was exactly as described and was special because of the views of Table mountain and Signal Hill. Probably one of the best views you can get in CT so this apartment is a winner. Amenities all stylish and user friendly.

The apartment is first class and clean. Great views table mountain. The reception staff are pretty miserable but they are not directly employed by the apartment renters. All in all 5 stars.

Wat een uitzicht! Erg goed appartement.

In het centrum van Kaapstad met een fantastisch uitzicht op de Tafelberg. De kamer was verder perfect met een lekker bed. Dichtbij zitten een paar goede ontbijtzaakjes en natuurlijk moet je de bijzondere koffie tent geprobeerd hebben: Truth coffee roasting. Verder hebben we alles met uber geregeld en is de four seasons een bekende naam dus dat maakt het makkelijk.

Best room in the city

The place is clean and the view of the Table mountain while in bed is amazing! the only part that I didn't like was walking 150m to get/drop off the key. although it was just around the block but I think they can do better.

Clean apartment with beautiful view

The apartment was simply decorated and clean. The view is what made the stay so special, it was absolutely spectacular. Definitely will be visiting again.

Wifi e desorganização como pontos fracos

- Ao chegar na recepção, você descobrirá que a chave do seu quarto deve ser retirada em outro hotel próximo, uma vez que não existe nenhum controle de nomes/check in/check out na própria recepção. Entretanto, a própria recepção não sabia me dizer qual era esse outro hotel, por isso tive que procurar (junto de um segurança) em mais dois hoteis para descobrir onde estava a minha chave. Saldo: 1h10min para eu ter acesso ao meu quarto. - "Free Wifi" de ridículos 2mb (sim, para toda a estadia) sem direito a se quer poder comprar mais internet, ou seja, não existe wifi disponível. - Esses dois pontos foram uma pena, uma vez que os quartos são equipados e confortáveis, com uma localização boa do centro e do Table Mountain. Se consertarem isso, o hotel terá um excelente custo benefício.
