We only stayed here 1 night, it was exactly what we needed, in walking distance to the robben island ferry.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
I loved the white wine served as a welcome drink. Our room was comfortable and the area close to amenities.
Hotel was in a good location for bars and restaurants, as well as being relatively close, in walking distance, to the V&A. The staff were very friendly and helpful, however, a little inconsistent. They kindly arranged for a taxi for us to Newlands on the first day, at a reasonable cost, however, when we asked for the same on the second day, the cost almost doubled. We therefore took a 20 minute walk to the railway station for 90% cheaper.
The room was spacious and clean for our 8 night stay, and we would definitely use it again if in Cape Town.
The room was very bare bones and not nicely decorated. The bathroom was very tiny with no window and the shower curtain was so thin the water went right through it. The couch had been very worn and was sunken in the middle. The bed was so tiny and was hard for 2 people to sleep in, so one of us spent several nights sleeping on the couch. We had a patio door, but it didn’t open. One of our 2 air conditioners didn’t work and only the living room window opened. It was hard to air out the room. The pool was also dirty when we went to use it. The staff closed it down to clean but it still took a long time.
The staff was friendly and helped us in any way they could. We could also see the New Years Eve fireworks from the pool area. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but there are plenty of nearby places to get breakfast.
Part of the reason this hotel was so disappointing was because the week prior we stayed at the Protea hotel down the street and that hotel was so modern and comfortable. The amenities were much nicer. Just know all Protea Marriott hotels are not the same.

View og tablemount is beautiful, However facility is too old. Especially bath
I arrived around 11pm. All access to property was closed and no signage or people to advise what to do. I had to walk around at that hour with car parked on road to figure out what to do. I eventually found a buzzer and someone opened. not good.
Staff and service were wonderful and accommodating to all requests. However the hotel is dated and worst part was the two elevators never worked at the same time. Each day it would be one or the other and when you're unlucky the working elevator takes 10 minutes to arrive when called or even longer.

Great view.
Great room.
Desk staff great.
Negatives however:
Disappointed the pool looked a little under the weather and we did not use it. Water was green.
Cleaning staff needs to learn to not hold elevators. Sometimes long waits for one.

Good stay
We were transferred to Cape Town Lodge Hotel because the Protea Hotel by Marriott Cape Town Cape Castle was fully booked. The location of the hotel was perfect for Bo-Kaap and central district shops, but too far away from V & A. Our room was pretty big with good beds and facilities to heat water. Wi-Fi was ok. Breakfast was decent with fresh fruits, but limited selection of bread. Pool was pretty small. The staff in the reception was very helpful.

Great location for DIY apart hotel
Great location and very reasonable facilities if you get the studio apartment and can make use of the living room and kitchen. Don’t expect any extensive service from the front desk beyond struggling to open the parking garage. WiFi’s functions b at low speed. Still a nice environment nearby and 15 minutes walk to the V&A complex.
Sehr zentral gelegen. Hauptstrasse ist jedoch sehr laut. Tolle Aussicht. Grosse Zimmer. Netter Staff. Gutes Essen. 15 min zu fuss zur Waterfront.

Dececpcionante.
Upgraded to suite without asking. Room was huge and had a great view. Furnishings and decor just a bit tired but everything was clean and comfortable. Had a really big 2-person tub but did not use it due to the recent water issues. Conversely, the shower stall was cramped for me (6 ft., 170 lb. male). Thanks

AC unit to old to noise nedd a update room furnuture to old room nedds to be renomated
Considering the price point the location is great walk to the waterfront as well as other shops, cafes, supermarkets etc. Room was nothing flashy but it was modern, clean and spacious. Great views on the higher floors. Lots of fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order for breakfast. Pool is nice although the busy street runs by it. The entrance is a bit confusing...I used the man door to the parking garage and then up the elevator...still not sure if there was another way in and I got locked out once. Wifi is spotty, itll drive you nuts.
De um modo geral muito boa, atendimento, café da manhã, limpeza, mas por estar localizado perto de avenidas muito movimentadas o ruído é intenso, principalmente a noite e de manhã cedinho.

Basic hotel, good location, good views.
Basic hotel and good for a stop over. The view from the corner rooms are great and very nice to be able to open the sliding doors to Juliette Balcony. Rooms feel old, but everything works. Over easter felt overpriced. Location is good with a 15min walk to V&A.
Ordentliches Hotel an der Main Road fußläufig zu V & A Harbourfront. Long Street ebenfalls in 20 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Hotel bietet Studios mit Wohnraum, Schlafraum u. Bad. Wohnraum mit kl. Küche, Microwelle, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Tee u. Kaffee. Klimaanlage. Freundl. u. hilfbereiter Service an der Rezeption. Durchaus empfehlenswert!
The hotel is in a nice location and close to V & A Waterfront. Daytime staff members were really helpful and tried to accommodate us (with cleaning, providing supplies and such). The room was decent as well as we slept in comfortably. What we did not like: 1. the coupon based internet access (it was unreliable at times and we would need to re-authenticate so frequently. coupon would stop working and we would end up requesting new coupon. 2. Night time staff members were not helpful at all. Would ask us to come to front desk when we ask for resources. Would tell us something is not available just so he/she would not have to come to our room. Like telling us the kitchen is closed an hour before the kitchen was actually supposed to be closed according to hotel brochures in room. 3. The elevator at times did not work and it was a bit scary or frustrating at times. Overall, not a Marriott like experience. I do see the potential of being great though. The day time staff members were really helpful. Not sure what happened at night.
