What a gem of a property. Lynn and her staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing and unforgettable stay. Kitchen and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. Awesome experience, can highly recommend.

PERFECT GETAWAY

We chose the Champagne Apartment and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room, everything you could possibly need and well considered amenities. Lynn and Mick were very kind hosts inviting us for Happy Hour drinks after a well needed swim in the pool on a very hot day. It was a very short walk into town and very quiet, safe and restful.

This is a good option if you want self catering/ apartment. Personally wish we picked a hotel in the main street now - but that is something we figured out once we arrived. We picked this on price and thought it would be useful to have self catering- but there is so many restaurants and places to eat - you just need a base here really . The court yard pool area is sweet and compact - there a hot tub as well . We only used briefly. It is close to the Main Street and walkable . The host was lovely to us and she try’s very hard to be helpful.

A traveller’s paradise

This is the type of place you dream of finding as a traveller. Lyn and Mick were the perfect hosts, making us feel like invited friends instead of paying guests. The suite felt very luxurious and is beautifully decorated - the bathroom is to die for. They’ve clearly put thought into the things that mean a lot when you’re on the road - plenty of sockets, for example, and a hairdryer that’s actually next to a mirror. And the private terrace!!! A huge, tiled, Mediterranean-style serene space. The area felt very safe and we took their advice to walk to the the Tuk Tuk craft brewery in the evening. Fab food and drink. The pool is quite tiny. But seriously, everything else is so spot on, I wouldn’t even take that into consideration - it’s still big enough to cool down in. The only downside was that we booked in for only one night - if I’d known, I would definitely have booked more.

Fabulous hosts

Fabulous stay, Lynne and Mick were such wonderful hosts. Lynne literally drove us to and from our dinner reservation when we could not get an Uber…and this was New Years Eve! They couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Location is spot on, 2 minutes or less to the center of town.

Mycket bra läge. Säkert att gå hem i mörkret på kvällen. Trevlig värdinna. Vi hade en stor altan med utsikt mot de vackra bergen. Jucuzzi på gården och en liten pool. Trevligt och mysigt!

Mick and Lynne are superb hosts to their lovely appartments. They have a wealth of local knowledge and are happy to help with your plans. The appartments are well appointed, clean and very comforatable, and the location is perfect, 2 mins from the main road, full of restuarants, cafes etc. We had some lovely drinks chatting with them at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Franshoek. Thank you.
