"We loved that the check-in process was seamless - we weren’t prepared for no internet when we arrived and the code to the door box was in my email. It was figured out though so no harm done. Really enjoyed the wood stove, that added so much ambiance to the place for sure. The bedrooms very spacious but very warm, especially when wood stove going in the evening. The tub was huge but I was not able to enjoy a hot bath at the end of our paddling tour as the water was tepid at best. The owner offered to come and turn up the hot water heater for us but preferred we take a shower as the use of the water would have been substantial with the tub size. Kitchen was good, we would have preferred better frying pans but overall had everything we needed. A bit loud with the main road being right there but not a deal breaker. We would stay here again for sure!"
