Beautiful New Guesthouse, Cottage Style, Close to Palo Duro Canyon & WTA&M

Please Note: June 7th, Prairie Blossom had haildamage to 2 windows which are now removed, covered & will be replaed soon. No other damage. Everything is still immaculate, comfotable, beautiful & SAFE! please contact host if any questions or concerns about booking. Enjoy beautiful Texas sunrises and sunsets in this new construction prairie cottage. We are located 5 miles from downtown Canyon, with its unique dining and shopping experiences. Palo Duro Canyon is a short 8 miles away for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking and biking. We highly recommend seeing the outdoor musical "TEXAS" while you are here!
This 2 bedroom, 1 bath guest house is beautifully decorated and fully furnished for your comfort and convenience.
The kitchen has a beautiful corner sink and cabinetry, granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances with built-in microwave and coffee bar. You can enjoy meals and card games around the table in the open concept kitchen, dining and living room.
Living area comfortably seats 4 guests with a love seat and sofa. The vintage mantle with electric fireplace add to the ambiance of this quaint cottage on the Texas prairie.
The two bedrooms each carry out the prairie blossom garden theme with a comfortable queen bed and luxury linens.
A washer and dryer are available for guest use if needed.
Enjoy the view from the many windows. Rock your cares away on the covered front or back porch. Enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails under the Texas star lit sky.

Amazing stay

Tucked on a quiet street; minutes from Palo Duro Canyon and the quaint town of Canyon. The house was very clean, very comfortable and had a true home feel! We will definitely return!

I really can’t say enough about our stay here. The place was comfortable, nicely decorated, quiet, private and had everything we needed, and more. Very nice and helpful hosts. Location was right up the road from Palo Duro Canyon SP. Would love to stay again!

Everything about this property was wonderful. Very clean and perfect for 2-4 people. The bed was comfortable and my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening. Quiet atmosphere, except for the cows bellowing, which we thought sounded funny. They are not a distraction. We did not meet the owners but they were super easy to communicate with. Great location. Palo Duro Canyon and Amarillo are about 15 minutes away. Highly recommend this property. If I ever go back to Amarillo, this will be my first option.

This property was absolutely perfect for the girl trip to Palo Duro with my mom and sister. The drive to the canyon was close and easy. The cottage was immaculate and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend Prairie Blossom!!

Palo Dura adventure

Short stay exploring Palo Duro Canyon. Great location only a few minutes from the State Park. Very nice rental home, clean, well thought out making fior a wonderful stay. The host was very nice and considerate.

Great location to Canyon, Amarillo and The Canyon! We loved how the cottage made you fill right at home because of the warm decorations and pleasant settings! Would highly recommend!

Family Getaway

This house was a fantastic place to stay. The house was a perfect size for my family of 4 and everything that we needed. The sunsets were just beautiful and it was just down the road from Palo Duro Canyon where we spent most of our days. Was so nice to come back to a clean, warm home. Hoping to make it back!!

Peace and quiet

This is a beautiful, peaceful cottage with all the necessary amenities. It is a perfect location between Canyon, TX and the Palo Duro Canyon. Troy and Paulette are wonderful hosts.

Great small rural getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay in this quiet country road. The house was very well kept and comfortable. The hosts were pleasant. We saw lots of birds, cattle, and bunnies. Short drive to Canyon and Palo Duro and a reasonable distance to Amarillo an Caprock—made for a great home base. We’d definitely return if in the area!

Peaceful Prairie Blossom

I was very impressed with this little cottage in the country. It was clean and quaint and comfortable. My husband and I especially liked the bedding. The shower was great and we felt right at home. I will definitely consider the Prairie Blossom if I return to hike the Canyon.

Prairie Blossom for the win!

My family and I stayed at Prairie Blossom for an extended weekend while we were in the area visiting friends and family. It was everything we expected. The location is easy to find and gives you a little bit of country living while still being close to Canyon and Amarillo. The house was very clean and cozy. The hosts went above and beyond with their communication and were very gracious in helping us with something we left behind.

Beautiful getaway

Beautiful location close to lots of activities. Troy and Paulette are the most welcoming hosts we’ve met. They are knowledgeable about the area and are now friends we look forward to meeting again. The property is very well kept and all possible amenities are supplied. Evenings we used the grill and watched the sunset, while enjoying the quiet surroundings. They truly have a gem that is family friendly and clean and comfortable

Great host!

Had an issue with the reservation but Paulette was so kind, called us, explained the situation and got us a place for Friday night and then let us move over to the house on Saturday for our stay. It was a cute little place that had everything we needed. Even played a game they had with our family on Saturday night. We'll definitely be back. Such a gracious host!

Great house, great location.

Nice house in a perfect location. Two roomy bedrooms, a comfy living room, and we could log into the smart TV to access streaming services. We only cooked breakfast, so I can't speak much to how well-appointed the kitchen was. There is both a regular and a Keurig coffee maker, however. Easy access to downtown Canyon, which has some nice restaurants and sports bars. Not too long of a drive to give The Big Texan Steakhouse a try. Be sure to make reservations so you don't get stuck with an hour or more wait. Proximity to Palo Duro Canyon State Park is awesome!
