Perfect for discovering Rouen
As a 62-year old woman travelling alone but with two (!) very expensive e-bikes, security is a major consideration for me. This apartment is in a gated community with secured parking. I was able to store the bikes in the stairwell of the building (secured with chains and batteries removed, just in case). It takes about 12 minutes to walk to the bus stop (direct bus into town takes 1/4 hour to the cathedral) and about 10 minutes to walk to a big Leclerc. The cycle path along the Seine is about 5 minutes away. Mid-way through my 16-day stay, the host brought fresh bed linen and towels and took away the dirty stuff - a very nice touch. The host was very friendly and always available if needed but also took the time to introduce me to his utterly charming parents who live on site and whom I was told I could contact if ever I needed help urgently. The apartment was lovely and clean, modern, with a well equipped kitchen, very comfy bed, and small private garden, which was delightful. The communal pool had not yet opened for the season, so I cannot judge it. All in all, I felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I recommend this accommodation without reservation.

Wohnung sehr sauber, etwas dunkel weil im EG zum Pool hinter hoher sichtschützender Hecke gelegen . Außensitzplatz war aber gut nutzbar . CheckIn gestaltete sich schwierig , Vermieter war zunächst nicht erreichbar, (sei im Urlaub , entschuldigte sich später wiederholt ) . Die Schlüsselübergabe sollte persönlich erfolgen (wegen gesichterter Einfahrt in die Anlage ) . Nach zahlreichen vergeblichen Kontaktversuchen half die Mutter des Vermieters ,die ebenfalls in der Anlage wohnt und auch später bei Fragen geduldig zur Verfügung stand und uns sogar ein Busticket spendiert hat . Die Umgebung ist durch nahe Gewerbegebiete und Hafen geprägt ,aber sehr gut durch ca.1 KM entfernte Bushaltestelle mit Rouen verbunden . An der Haltestelle befindet sich zudem ein großer ALDI Markt mit Parkplatz , sonst haben wir keine kleinen Lebensmittelgeschäfte/Bäcker gesehen . Die Parkplätze sind ausreichend groß (bei Unterkünften in Rouen offensichtlich keine Selbstverständlichkeit) , die Anlage ist sicher und freundlich , der Pool sauber und nicht wirklich störend . Die wesentlichen Gerätschaften in der Küche sind vorhanden , größere Kochaktionen würden wir aber nicht empfehlen - bei der Fülle der guten Restaurants in Rouen wohl auch nicht nötig . Insgesamt ein gutes Quartier um Rouen und Umgebung , inkl Küste zu erkunden .

Das Appartement ist toll und schön eingerichtet. Es war alles da, was man so im Alltag braucht. Sehr sauber, ausreichend Handtücher, wir hatten wirklich nichts zu meckern. Der Pool ist super sauber, ausreichend groß und entspannend. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr angenehm! Wir kommen wieder! :-)
