"What a special place. The Barranca Plaza Casita is so comfortable, cozy, beautiful, and stocked with everything you might need. Floyd and his family are the most incredible and hospitable hosts. We had the most spectacular trip. If there was a 6 star option I would have selected that!"

"Winter 2025 began as a dry year, the week after Christmas didn't deliver much snow. We arrived and it snowed abt. an inch, which was plenty for this S. Tex family to enjoy with the steep drive up the hill. The Alpaca Barn was full of amazing history and was educational for all of us! (Ages 12-53) The store was full of Alpaca wool goodies which we couldn't resist, since it is so soft and hypoallergenic! Mickey and Evelyn were so hospitable and welcomed us, providing answers to our many questions. "

"The host was great! Took great care of us. The cabin was immaculate and very well stocked. Very comfortable and spacious. The views were really spectacular. Mountains, rock formations, birds, cactus, sunsets, sunrises, and a beautiful patio to enjoy it all on!! My teen boys even loved it!The kitchen is well stocked and very spacious. We all loved that it felt secluded but there are a lot of things to do nearby. We hope to visit again.Thanks for making it available to enjoy."
