Charming stay, homemade cake
Really enjoyed our stay at Casa Aspron. Such charming and attentive hosts. Homemade cake was a real treat. Great location, 5 minutes to Covadonga, and 10 minutes to other restaurants. Do check with them directly when they open though, as Google often incorrect.

The hotel owners were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in multiple hotels during our trip and the breakfast offered at Casa Asprón was by far the best, including homemade cake! The location is also perfect for accessing los lagos de Covadonga. The only downside was the room was a bit dark and small but it was good value for money overall. Be aware that there's only one local restaurant that serves dinner past 7pm. However, Cangas de Onís is a 15 minute drive away with plenty of options.

Great hospitality, and big breakfast!
We loved the location, close to the Lagos and Miradores as well. And also, a convenient location in Covadonga as well. Beautiful place to stay, and such lovely hospitality too!

The host was very welcoming and the room was comfortable. The location is great, within walking distance of the Basilica and the Church of Our Lady. However, don't expect to get anything to eat or drink after 7pm

Loved our stay at Casa Aspron! We loved the loft space in the triple room. Our hosts were very friendly and made a great, filling breakfast. The location was quiet and provided easy access to the lakes and sanctuary. It was a great location to get an early start ahead of the crowds. I would highly recommend.

We arrived to Casa Aspron by mistake thinking that it was located close to Cangas de Onis. Fortunately, our mistake gave us the opportunity to enjoy the excellent personal service and advise of Jorge and to visit the Virgin of Covadonga Sanctuary firsthand. We highly recommend consider this apparently simple but great place to stay if visiting the Sanctuary or just as night stay. However, you may have to take into consideration that the rooms do not have air conditioning that could be an issue during hot summer nights.

Our 3-night stay at Casa Aspron was great. The positives are the location of the property and the host Jorge. Jorge was very patient and gave us all the information we needed to explore the hiking paths and restaurants in the area. His restaurant recommendations were super awesome. The had two issues. On the first night we had cushions with hair on them. ad very unpleasant. We left them at the desk and informed the host. He had all the linens changed the next day. The other issue we had was the room was super hot and we had to leave the window open. As our room was facing the main road it was a bit noisy. It was partly our fault to not read that the rooms did not come with air conditioner. Except for these two issues we had a great stay and we would definitely stay at this property if we are visiting in cooler months. The property is well maintained and clean. The breakfast is so yummy and plenty of options that we skipped lunch two days. On the day when we could not have breakfast and had to leave early, Jorge was kind to pack us a nice picnic style breakfast which we took with us on our hike.

Quiet stay, friendly team
Very well placed country-side base from where to explore the National Park. Exceptional welcome, our hostess was very happy to download her wealth of local knowledge, where and how to go, where to eat, and recommendations for on onward journey. Oh, to add, she cooks a tasty breakfast! This is not a starred hotel, other options exist, but if you want a local style stay, highly recommend

Lovely position close to the river and just 7 minutes walking down hill to a restaurant that serves huge portions. The bed was hard and uncomfortable with a single bolster for 2, not individual pillows. The communal room needs brighter lights.

A Great Place to Stay in Covadonga!
Very beautiful place with the amazing Santa Cueva a short walk away. Pedestrian friendly area with a nice restaurant a short distance from the hotel. The husband and wife innkeepers are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was scrumptious.

Go to Covadonga, and stay at Casa Aspron.
Pino and Jorge were the nicest, friendliest hosts I have ever known. Their suggestions made my trip spectacular, their breakfast allowed me to skip lunch (chuckle) and the video I took out of my window of the bells ringing in the cathedral standing about the trees had everyone back home jealous.

Fantastic for the price 'great service and breakfa
This is an amazing little hotel. Its not 5* so you cant expect a pool and all sorts of other things, but for the price it supersedes all expectations. Both owners are very helpful and the breakfast was much better than anything else I had at more expensive places with real orange juice for example. A great area and a great short stay, highly recommended.

Habitación muy bonita y limpia. Ubicación muy cerca de la entrada a los lagos de Covadonga. Detrás hay un paseo muy bonito con un río. Desayuno abundante y muy bueno.
