Great place!!

This was an awesome place to stay!! Beautiful beaches, very quiet, close to downtown. Very clean. Only thing that sucked was the elevator was out of service, so climbing 3 flights of stairs with baggage and after a long day was rough... but I'd stay here again if i come back to cancun.

Suites Brisas July 16-July 25, 2021

Suites Brisas is a nice option for families needing an apartment- full kitchen with full refrigerator, stove, dishes, utensils & small dining table with seating for 4 people. One bedroom contains two full beds & a sofabed. Resort has a pool with lounge chairs & is on the beach. Resort location is on KM 19.5 which is a quieter location of Cancun hotel zone- cheap bus stops right outside to take you to downtown hotel zone if that is what you’re looking for…overall a nice stay!

Great alternative to a conventional hotel

This is a condominium, not a hotel. We rented our unit from the owner for three nights. So it feels like borrowing an apartment from a friend, if the apartment was immaculately clean and right on the beach. Just be aware that there is no conventional "check-in" procedure and there is no housekeeping service during your stay. (The housekeeper who gives you the keys doesn't speak much English, so knowledge of a few Spanish words is helpful.) The owner is terrific: I didn't meet her but we spoke on the phone. Your stay includes use of the facility pool. If you want to relax on the beach in the Zona Hotelera, it's a great casual way to do it.

Nice beach property.

Perfect beach location, nice clean property. Not noisy, not crowded, very nice. Not one of these mega hotels with crowded front desk and a lot of people on the beach. It is not a hotel room, it is a small apartment, with kitchen, fridge, and other small appliances, like a toaster, coffeemaker, etc. Flat screen TV with some channels in English. Little convenience store and cafeteria on the property, bus stops just in front of the entrance to the property. Entrance is guarded. Couple restaurants and another convenience stores in a walking distance, but if you want more of the restaurants, you can take a bus or a taxi, and you will be in the hassle and bustle within 20 minutes (I mean the northern area of Zona Hoteliera). No front desk or room service, but I was there only for 3 nights, and I did not care that my bed was not made. I would stay there again any time if the price is competitive. The staff was nice and friendly, although they do not speak English. There was a bit too much seaweed on the beach, it was not picked up like in front of the other hotels. I personally do not mind seaweed, there was no trash on the beach.
