"This is my second stay in Palolem Beach Resort. Last time we were in the big deluxe garden bungalow but it was far from beach. This time we actually booked Cuba Premium Bungalows but due to pandemic setback and Coastal Regulations that was closed. Hotels. Com did a quick full refund of our payment and also suggested amicably that now Palolem Beach Resort has been taken over by the same proprietary and managerial group, so we went there and made a booking. "The room was 200 metres from the beach wallking along unlit, rubbush strewn alleyways. I refused to check in as the accomodation is NOT as described. The hotel said they understood and would not charge me for the booking. However they charged my card in full after i left. Dishonest."
