This is a wonderful property and a beautiful location. It’s a very quiet location with lots of nice amenities and waterfront with a private dock. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and very quiet. Highly recommended and would return again.

Beautiful place! Room was nicely uodated and clean. My only complaint was being woken up at 6 am for an hour listening to the people above walk around loudly then a garbage truck or truck of some sort beeping backing up. Overall a beautiful resort but could use some soundproofing, unless you are an early riser!

we were greeted by a superb concerige Very Friendly and kind ,as for The Sunday front concerige to say the least Friendly we left Sunday morning to have breakfast and we were locked out our rooms ?. No explanations the rooms were paid until check out Monday..other than that we had a wonderful stay and will return again as previous years ..

Front staff were efficient and friendly. The resort is easy to navigate. We loved our ocean view. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the water, watching boats and float planes and searching for whales. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. We had an afternoon nosh with drinks, supper and a breakfast both inside and on the deck during our stay. The food was delicious, our servers were knowledgeable and very pleasant.

The rooms were good and clean, the view of cruise ships was awesome!! The outdoor pool was nice, but they let the towel bin run empty. The wood burning sauna was very nice, have to book your time slot. We played tennis with the rackets and balls they supplied. The staff in the restaurant were great, our server the first night was his first day and he was fabulous!! They gave us a bag of ice for our cooler too. I will stay there again.

Wonderful to see how far they have come in the year since re-opening the property. Lively environment in the restaurant but still overall quiet and friendly to allow for full enjoyment of the wonderful setting. Shout out to Catherine in the on-site wildlife tour operation. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Walk to the tour from your room- terrific. I am a solo female traveller from Vancouver who comes to fish. I’ll stay here each time I come!

Amazing views from our oceanfront room, undergoing renovation. Big rain shower, no tub. Very clean and comfortable. Serene environment. We wished it had a hot tub, as was advertised on Expedia and asked about twice...but the warm pool was nice to have before hitting the road again. Would stay again,(and eat a Nahu 10/10)

We enjoyed our stay very much at Painter’s Lodge. Located right on the water, with a private pier, we soaked in the views and loved that an orca swam by! Staff was very helpful and accomodating. The grounds were well kept, the room was clean. We would have liked to have a screen on the window so we could keep the window open in the evening.
