"Love this house! Had everything we needed for a wk stay, kept on extending it as there was no other place we rather stay at. 2 min drive from the mall and all amenities, waterfront is a few mins drive away as well. Great quality linen, towels, bath products and shower pressure was perfect. Very private and easy parking, yet on the main road and fast to get into the bridge to go into the city. Would book again! "

"Staying with Joe felt like staying with family in the nicest way. Communication was clear and friendly, everything was taken care of, and the room itself is exactly as listed. Joe was so lovely and warm, even invited me up for a drink and a chat. When he discovered I was a musician he was more than happy to lend me his guitar for the duration of the stay. This is the perfect home base to go out and explore the city from. Would 100% stay again."

"Lovely old mansion divided into units. Its showing the passage of time but still a stately old girl. Our unit was warm and inviting, double glazing ensured the cold stayed out and the aspect was perfect for trapping the light and heat. We really enjoyed our stay , it was the perfect jumping off point for exploring. Not for those wanting an upmarket experience but perfect if you want to feel immersed in Hobart as it was."

"Had a good time here. We were 2 adults from Germany and specially enjoyed the two separated bedrooms with large beds. The flat offered everything you need in a nice and quiet neighborhood. For example the cascades brewery is only a short walk through the park away. Communication with John was super easy and he solved everything perfectly fast."

"Noticeably clean and thoughtfully curated property. Was a perfect overnight stay for a family of four including 2 school-aged children. The unit is actually the front-half of a larger property - door separating the 2 in the middle of the house but blocked off. Whilst the back property was occupied and using the driveway, any noise was limited."

"The location was prefect. Easy walking distance to down town Hobart and waterfront. The apartment was well equipped for our needs. Clean and spacious. Wouldn't recommend for unfit elderly or small children. There are alot of stairs. Thank you we enjoyed our stay immensely."

"We loved the Red Door (now grey) for it's layout and design - an excellent choice for any couple looking to explore Hobart and be within walking distance of the market - we loved the kitchen, deck and main bedroom views - many thanks to Robin and Kate for stocking some coffee and milk for the first morning after our flight. Stores on Sandy Bay Road are easy to access for additional provisions. Overall a great place to hang your hat for a few days."
