The Carrick Hotel is well-located at the southern tip of Camogli. It's a short walk to the train station and the beach but it is on a quiet edge of the road. The staff is lovely and very helpful. The breakfast each morning is delicious and the rooftop is beautiful! We had a wonderful stay.

Literally just a stone’s throw from Camogli train station, this hotel is a convenient base for exploring nearby towns, islands, or simply enjoying Camogli itself. The hotel has a quirky and unusual design that adds character, though it is on the pricier side, it would have been nice if some spa services were included in the rate. Room cleaning took place quite early, around breakfast time, so our bin was already full by the time we checked out. Although the staff from reception, housekeeping, and the restaurant were all friendly and accommodating. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the rooftop area provided amazing views , definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

We stayed in the Suite Paradiso. The room wasn't huge but it was okay for a family of 4 and good enough for our 4 night stay. Housekeeping , staff at the bar and restaurants were exceptional and very friendly and informative. Fitness center was small but clean and good equipment. I only wished we could've connected to our tv for Netflix. We recommend this hotel and would come back to visit again.

Staff is amazing (especially Leo and Carlina). Hotel is beautiful. Room is large and comfortable (great bed and great shower). Breakfast was wonderful. Kitchen stays open late for late arrivals and food was delicious. 5 minute walk to the sea, so great location. Parking in Camogli can be difficult, especially on a busy weekend. A couple of garages above the hotel that are a little cheaper than the hotel parking if you can find them.

Lovely hotel a few minutes walk to main restaurant area in Camogli. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Pizza restaurant near hotel was good too. Free public parking in parking lot above hotel..white lines means free.

The room are different from what portraits in the photos, much smaller. There was also a strong smell of frying oil on the floor. However the finishing of the room was nice, bed very good and bathroom also very nice. Overall it’s not what we expected, again different from Expedia pics. Be ready for that.

The location of this property is convenient for walking to shops and restaurants but one of the main reasons we chose this hotel is because they offered on site parking. What we didn’t know is that they charge 50 Euros a night to park. This is not a typo. Yes, 50 Euros!! This is insult pricing which I refuse to pay on principle. We found parking somewhere else which was both inconvenient and annoying. We travel all over the world 5-6 times a year and we always have a car with us but we have NEVER paid that much to park… not even when using valet parking in 5 star hotels. Apart from the parking disappointment, the hotel was ok but it did not feel like a 5 star property - more like a 4 star hotel. The color scheme is odd with each floor being painted a different color. Also, they are trying a bit too hard to be modern/trendy with the decor. And, the bathroom is a little dated. The shower had 1” tiles on the walls and floor but the grout had definitely seen better days. The thing that really counts though is that the bed and pillows were nice and comfy so we got a good night’s sleep. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and we found the cute little coastal town of Camogli delightful.
